Alewerks L.A.B. Taproom

My husband and I enjoyed our little break from shopping here today. We both had one beer each - I had the mango guava one and it was very good. He also said he liked his tangerine flavored one. It's a nice, casual relaxing atmosphere. A little dark for me but relaxing nonetheless. We did wish they sold some food even if light fare. The bar staff were very nice, pleasant and welcoming. Check them out!

Is your baby spending the day spending your money at the outlets in Willamsburg? Take a break here and enjoy a nice selection of brews. The atmosphere is bright and clean and there's not a clothing rack insight. After refreshing yourself with some very decent libations (protocol porter is my favorite) you can regain the courage to explore the feminine equivalent of Home Depot. They don't usually sell food here but they do have snacks and a bathroom.

Great little spot. I went specifically for one bourbon barrel aged Porter they brought back while I just happened to be visiting Williamsburg. It was worth the stop for that beer alone, but their menu was very diverse and really everything was good. We happened to hit Halloween music trivia night, so I don't know if it's always that crowded or just happened to be that night. We got the last couple seats in the house. It's not a cancel place, just a spot in strip mall type building, but still comfortable. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Oh, seemed like they had a LOT of merchandise too if you like that kinda thing from your breweries.

Nice stop on a Saturday afternoon to have a freshly made beer just for you. Community spirit with large tables for big gatherings of friends and family.

Nice and calm place to drink a beer or two while shopping at the outlet stores. Good selection of tasty beers. Friendly staff quick to answer questions and pour beer. Good selection of shirts and hats to purchase. Plenty of packaged beer available for sale. Very family oriented with families with small children. For munchies they have some chips and pretzles on site for sale. Well lit with a nice large window for watching shoppers go by.

We were from out of town visiting for the weekend. Our friends stay in Williamsburg often and recommended going to the Outlets for shopping. They also mentioned this brewery was a great pit stop before and after shopping.The seating is spacious and the inside is very nice. They have a large amount of beer to go including six pack bottles, four pack 16 ounce cans, and even 550ml bottles with cool bourbon aged beers. There is also a large apparel area. I love buying brewery apparel.The beer was very good with a large range of variety. I loved the new Irish cream spiced ale. My wife loved the Good Lick irish stout. They had a decent Cold IPA too, which is a current popular style.I highly recommend this spot, even if you aren't shopping, just stop by.

How did no one else figure to put a brewery in a mall? Lady goes shopping, guy gets wasted, and everyone is happy.I still maintain Alewerks consistently makes the best beer in Hampton Roads. Pumpkin Ale, Bitter Valentine, Christmas Ale, and those are just the seasonal offerings. One of a kind brews that are so satisfying. Great staff. They sell comfortable good looking merchandise.Again, it's the best.

Wonderfully crafted beer with unique flavor notes and lots of space, Alewerks L.A.B. features a sizeable draft menu (for a microbrewery) and quite a few surprises when it comes to options. They also have food! They advertise a good amount of events each weekday and seem to put an emphasis on drink specials and bingo.I ordered a flight (slightly pricey for 3-6 beers) but every one stood out from the usual array of options locally. I would highly recommend trying this location if you're visiting, since it has some exclusive options from the normal taproom, and is close to lots of shopping/dining options.

When the wife says its time to go shopping, your first suggestion should be the outlets. I am happy spending my time at the L.A.B. (Little Auxiliary Brewery) Taproom. Alewerks's L.A.B. offers a majority of Alewerk's great beer plus a few small batch items made literally in house. Do you want to pack some beer? The taproom has plenty of packaged beer to give as gifts. They have some snacky items, but no kitchen. If you are like me you will see it as the oasis located in the desert of outlet shopping.

Really enjoyed their tangerine wheat ale. Both individuals upfront were grate to interact with . A nice place for pick me up in mid shopping.
