Al Forno Pizzeria

The food at the restaurant is good. I have had the pizza, subs, and many of the pasta dishes. The service is good because they are staffed according to the business needs. The outside and inside of the restaurant is new and appealing.

Menu from pizza (personal 8" to 14" large), calzones, burgers, few pasta dishes, salads, Italian subs. Specialty dishes from chicken or eggplant Parmesan to manicotti or cannelloni. Pizzas are good, crispy crust, but my personal pizza took longer than the 14" Margherita, everyone's dishes came out 15-20" before my personal pizza, minus a star for canned not fresh mushrooms. Good subs, burgers. Sandwiches range from burgers, turkey, chicken to Italian and meatball subs. Pasta dishes, I was told was good. Service good, kitchen - er needs some work on coordinating meals coming out at a reasonable time.

I just left and I had a great meal, The Brochette is the best I have ever had. the Balsamic reduction the lightly toasted bread makes it so very tasty, and a great app for sharing. I then had a very nice salad very cold and crisp and very fresh the Italian dressing was home light and tasty. My entree is one of my favorites Fresh Garlic and Olive Oil with sun dried tomato's and Angel hair. Perfectly balanced, very thinly sliced garlic warmed perfectly but not over powering.The Service was great, I was only 4:30 but about half full. The Ambiance was what you would expect for a very small town. Very Clean and neat.The owner Al is there every day all day and does 90% of all the cooking The Pizzas are great he makes his dough fresh daily and discards at the end of the day.

Pizza was OK we ordered a kids spaghetti and the sauce tasted like tomato paste and water. I don't know if that was because it was a kids meal or not but YUCK! I hope the adult sauce is better.

Best Pizza in Suffolk!!! Very good pizza! Had a large pizza with wings a little pricey for my budget $48 to be exact !!! I'm going to limit the times I want to eat pizza '

First time at the new location!! I love it!!! It's larger & brighter. The food was fresh, hot and fast. (& of course very tasty) The Resturant's Super friendly staff and the owner made me excited to plan my next visit.

We loved the new location. The food and service were great as always! It's definitely the best pizza and subs in Suffolk.

We were customers at the old location and it was awesome then and it hasn't changed in the new facility!!!! The food and service are alwaysphenomenal!!!

The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was the most delicious, authentic Italian meal we have had outside of Europe. Portions were perfect, fresh and hot. Nice selection of wine to complement the pasta. My wife had Manicotti and I dove into the Lasagna. Not fancy but much more than a Pizzaria, AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD!

Outstanding restaurant. Authentic Italian food from a wonderful Italian family in our community. I can not say enough good things about this place. Friendly service and the most welcoming environment. Highly recommended.
