No fear from this 8 year old but needed a boost up and some extra weight but they had the everything needed to make it happen.
Now imagine this when the trees are not bare.
Me and my niece thank you guys for a great time.

Family "yes day" brought us in July '21. Woodsy swamp area on KOA property in VB featuring 9 zip lines, friendly guides, an office shack (w ac), and "organic" bathrooms. Lines vary in height and challenge, none too scary for our family members of varying ages. Jimmy and Sean were great guides: initiated icebreakers for getting to know group members, reviewed safety rules before and during obstacles, assisted and helped every person get geared up. Nothing like being outdoors with family, cruising swiftly at treetop levels. We loved the dual line race, mom v dad / sis v sis / bro v bro. Of course wifey "beat me" (I intentionally pushed off late - duh!).They constantly tweak courses and line speeds to balance safety and adventure level. Total price was steep for my fam of 6 ($375), but hey, it was a "yes day." Recommend offering a family price to entice more family groups. That said, I'd do it again...after my bank account recovers from first yes day!

This place is pretty cool to try out. I visited during their last season in 2018, before they closed for the winter. Since I'm not sure if I'll be returning anytime soon I thought I would go ahead and share my thoughts. There is another aerial adventure course in Virginia Beach with a very similar name and a very similar location. This is one behind the KOA Campgrounds property, not the one at the Aquarium. Adventureworks is a straight zipline course. You have two staff members that accompany you between platforms, but you are totally on your own for the zips. I didn't ask if tandem zips were an option if you have a younger child, but no one zipped together on my tour. I'd imagine since it is a rough stop at the end of each sip, everyone zips solo for their safety. Speaking of safety, no need to try to look cute for this one. Dress in clothing that will cover your areas that the harness will touch. I'll come out and say it, no short shorts, I'd imagine the chafing situation might be brutal by the end. Athletic leggings and longer shorts are definitely the way to go. They also have you wear a helmet, so don't bother with your hair. Since you travel with your guides and a group your visit time depends on how long it takes for everyone to move between each platform. If you have someone in your group that is truly afraid of heights, hopefully they will self eliminate on the first platform or you might take awhile to move through the trees. On the flip side, if you are doing this for a group bonding day it is perfect to keep everyone together and bond while waiting. I think they even offer facilitated team building programs you can add on. You will also want to be mindful of the physical requirements of the course before you buy your ticket. Even though it isn't as physically demanding as aerial adventure courses with challenge elements. There are still a good bit of stairs you have to climb and a few passages that require a tiny bit of balance. You will be on your feet a lot, some is in the sun, but most is shaded. Spray down with bug spray before you go. I don't remember how much water there was, or if there were any water stations. It is best to hydrate before you go while keeping in mind there isn't a bathroom opportunity. There is a weight requirement. There isn't any way for someone to follow along on the ground that isn't zipping. The non-zipping grandparents that were with two boys in our group were disappointed by this, so it is worth mentioning. Overall, it was a really fun experience. I felt as safe as one can feel while zipping through the trees. The staff was friendly, which made the whole experience even better. I would definitely go back, but not for full price. Maybe I wouldn't feel this way if there wasn't another local option at the same price point that offered more activities and a longer experience. If you're just looking for a little adventure and don't have any desire for a total body workout, this is your place!

My friend and I went here for my first time ziplining and had a great experience. The lines were high enough to be exciting but not overly intimidating. The tour guides were both super helpful and fun. I would recommend this place to my friends.

During our fun at adventure works we had Sam and Joey "The Camo Hat Crew" and Haley as our tour guides. We were the only ones who showed up so we had a private tour. Our tour guides ensured our safety with simple rules to follow before we started. We had a short walk to the zip lines and we started off easy and got longer and more intense with games along the way. During the walk to the zip lines we had time to talk about the animals in the forest. It was a super family friendly experience that all ages would enjoy. We recommend adventure works to everyone.

You will get a lot of bang of your buck at this zip line park. You will get to zip line across 9 different lines each at various heights and speeds; with a safety guide at each station to aid you. As a deck builder myself, some of the structures are a little finicky and I question longevity of some of them, but over all they are safe. Jimmy and Ethan are fun guys, enjoy what they do and made the activity much more pleasing. I'd definitely do this again....

Fabulous. Greatest birthday ever for a 16 year old. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The first run was scary, then it is just pure fun. The runs start easy and get higher, longer, and faster as you go along. The gradual pace makes it easy to get over any fear you have. The scenery is fantastic, especially over the swamp. Go. You will enjoy it lots!

What a great experience. Zip lining is awesome here. Our guides, Jimmy,Katlyn, and Katie made for a memorable experience. You are warmly greeted by Kara, the Bark Ranger when you drive up and the fun vibes continue throughout your tour. I highly recommend this when you're visiting Virginia Beach.
