My husband and I were celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary, we called to adjust our reservation and it was not a problem, they were very friendly and accamodating. Once we arrived, everyone, including the hostess and all of their staff greeted us, we felt like we were celebratiies, walking on the "Red Carpet". The atmosphere was cozy, with cottage like decor and smooth jazz playing in the background, was perfect. Then we met our server Jenna, she was exceptional, Jenna was maneuvering between her tables, while making sure our dining experience was very memorable moment. Jenna presented options for our celebratory anniversary toast. Let me say our dinner was heavenly, the fresh hot bread with butter and their aged cheddar cheese,"Yummy"! 1st I ordered the "She Crab soup" which was creamy and loaded with crabmeat cup full goodness & a real comfort food. My husband ordered the "Fried Oyster Rockefeller" which was fresh crispy oysters loaded with spinach and cheese they were so delicious, then we both ordered the aged bone-n-ribeye, cooked perfectly to each of our specifications. My husband had loaded mash potatoes with broccoli and I had cream spinach and a loaded baked potato. Thank you, Jenna, the Chef and the Staff of Aberdeen Barn, for your part in making our anniversary dinner a wonderful experience. We visited AB Steakhouse tonight for the first time ever, and I'm pleased to say, the experience was amazing! from the sitting from the Hostess, to our waitresses, Alley and Roxanne. Our service was fantastic without us having to ask for anything, the staff anticipated our every desire and the Manager, Jeff, made several visit to ensure all was satisfactory. Now the food, the steaks were prepared and grilled to perfection! my medium rare steak couldn't have been any better if even Chef Ramsey had prepared it himself! The scallops were grilled perfectly and the oysters were lightly battered with a delicious flavor! The staff keep the bread coming, even before we ordered more......one of the best house salads I've ever enjoyed.All of the delicious food and the Waldorf Astoria level service was complimented with an acoustic guitarist serenading the patrons with the soft lighted environment.All in all, this experience was light years ahead of Butcher Sons and on the same keel of Ruth Cris', and all for a fraction of their price! Bravo Zulu ABS!

Very good! Wednesday was busy!I dined here a few weeks ago with my husband and his co-workers. I did not expect a Wednesday night to be busy, but it was. I know the restaurant offers deals throughout the week so this may have steered the crowd here.Nevertheless, we had a waiter and a waitress that took care of us, a party of 10 and they both were great and attentive.Overall, the meal and drinks were on point as usual.The only hiccup was the butter for the bread. It seemed as though the butter came directly from the freezer or frig because I could not spread it smoothly on my complimentary roll.The waitress came to my rescue... she easily swapped a bowl of butter from another table and it was all good.We also dined up front which had plenty of space to seat our party.I love it here! I love happy hour too... great deals here, before 6pm or 7pm.Have fun and enjoy life :)

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I had better experiences at Outback. First off, the place had a peculiar odor. Maybe a deep clean, perhaps even a carpet shampoo, could help this?My meal experience also didn't hit the mark. The bread was baked and buttered, but room temperature with a cheese spread served in a plastic ramekin? It felt a bit off. Then came the house salads complete with boiled eggs. Now, onto the steaks - bland, stringy, tough, almost like they were frozen and then hastily defrosted in the microwave.Considering all this, the prices felt exorbitant. Don't want to sound too harsh here, but it was just too much for what was served.Having said that, I must applaud your staff. They did their very best. But, the place might need more help right now, possibly a major overhaul. Ever heard of Gordon Ramsey and his reality rescues? Feels like your establishment could use that kind of intervention.I'm sharing all this as constructive criticism. I believe the place has potential and these changes could save it from a worse fate. Hope you take it in the spirit it's intended.

This place is worth the price, and it's possible to not go totally nuts with the spending too. My wife and I split the she crab soup which was incredible, best she crab soup I've ever had. Then we split the Oscar style lump on a filet mignon. We skipped the cocktails and our bill ended up being very reasonable considering how delicious everything was. These portions are huge so splitting an appetizer and entree is a great move to keep the cost down. Service was absolutely perfect, exactly what you'd expect from a place like this. Inside has very cozy rooms and you can see all the meat being aged at the front. Great place to celebrate something special.

It was my husbands and I 25th wedding anniversary/valentines day and Aberdeen Barn came highly recommended so since this was a special anniversary we decided to go. we WERE NOT disappointed, the food was AMAZING, it was decorated so nicely for the holiday and our Server ETHAN was awesome!! he was very knowledgeable gave us several recommendations and very attentive to our drinks. Before we left he brought us a gift certificate to use toward our next visit and a slice of cake to take home (we were way to full to eat it there) as a gift for our Anniversar. we definitely will be back for another special occasion. I also want to give a shout out to JASMIN one of the hostesses, she was very helpful on the phone

Made a reservation for a large party (22 people) about 3 weeks in advance, was told to arrive at 6. We were told we would be seated at 6:30, at exactly 6:30 we were shown to our table. Our servers Jena and Jeff were amazing. They were personal and professional at the same time. Everyone's food came out together except for my nephew's which they apologized for, but brought it out in no time at all. Everyone had a wonderful meal and enjoyed the evening. The only downside to the evening was the parking. I understand they were very busy (this had no effect on the service or the food) but it felt odd having to park in the business next door's lot. We will be back, just not on a Saturday night.
