A Williamsburg White House Bed and Breakfast Inn

We stayed three nights in the Lincoln room and really felt comfortable and rested. It's perfectly cool and quiet in this beautifully decorated room which carries on the presidential theme throughout the inn. The hosts are wonderfully friendly and professional, the breakfasts are totally gourmet and fun to enjoy with the other guests, afternoon wine or cookies are really special and the inn is close to Colonial Williamsburg history park as well as the downtown shops and restaurants!Can't think of anything missing.

Let me start off with this is a beautiful home and great location. Though we were only able to partake in 1 of 2 breakfasts, that too was fine. I wouldn't say gourmet but no complaints. The only thing I would offer is that the host has a particular way to do most things in his home which made it an effort for us to relax fully. And with such a beautiful home and clearly years of experience I wouldn't expect him to change a thing as it clearly works. Just take notes as he runs a tight ship.

Our stay at the White House was just what the doctor ordered. The room, the food and the hosts brought smiles to both of our faces. Understand the town has refused the owners ability to make certain external modifications which would make this place even nicer - such as adding a covering above the external door at the room we stayed at so while rain was coming down we did not get wet. While not a major issue, we were in town less than a couple hours early and asked to use one of the downstairs rooms (i.e. the library) to take a call and while we were told nicely to return at 3 PM. This would have helped rather than having to take the call in our car, in the rain. We stayed in the Jefferson Room which was perfect, except there was only a single chair in the room - a bit inconvenient for a couple. The bed was great, the place spotless and so quiet. When we filled out the sheet for breakfast the next day upon checking in there were 2 options - cereal and home made waffles and bacon; I was a bit disappointed. Yet, I am so glad to say the breakfast with a granola and fruit parfait, perfect fluffy waffles and crispy bacon with fresh squeezed orange juice and superior coffee was wonderful - along with the hosts and two couples who also stayed there. Hope my comments were helpful. Would definitely chose to stay there in the future.

This was our first stay in a B&B and WOW, we definitely made the right choice choosing A Williamsburg White House! The home is beautiful, very well-maintained, and the owners are incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. We stayed in the Lincoln suite and absolutely loved it! The bed was comfy, there was plenty of room, and the temperature was always perfect! The breakfasts are AMAZING - seriously - absolutely delicious. There's an honor bar stocked with all types of drinks, and there are late afternoon snacks and goodies every day. It was a perfect stay. Thank you so much John and Debbie for an incredible extra long weekend stay in your beautiful home. We are already talking about when to book our next trip.

This has to be one of our most favorite B&B' we've ever stayed. It is EXACTLY as it represented on their website!! It's no wonder that it is ranked the #1 Bed & Breakfast in Virginia!!We invited our friends to join us, because they had never stayed in a B&B before. They were BLOWN AWAY!! Mainly by the beautiful 100+ year old mansion that has been meticulously renovated and updated to maintain its incredible charm.Of course, what ultimately makes or breaks your B&B experience in our opinion is the InnKeepers/Host. We were not disappointed. John and Debbie are phenomenal innkeepers and splendid hosts. Their love and care for their guests comes across in every little detail from our check-in process to our scrumptious breakfast enchiladas. My wife and I had a wonderful visit to the Williamsburg White House B&B. Debbie and John could not have been kinder, more professional, or more welcoming. The evening wine was a nice touch, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. REALLY comfortable bed too. One other thing that really stood out was how clean the inn is. I honestly don't think I have ever stayed at a cleaner inn or hotel. Amazing.

We had an absolutely lovely experience during our two nights here. We live in DC and were looking for a nearby place to get away for a couple of nights, and the Williamsburg White House was just the ticket. The place is full of charm and warmth. There's a wood burning fireplace in the downstairs sitting room and Presidential memorabilia all over the walls. But above all else, it's the owners/innkeepers that make the inn stand out. John and Debbie's warmth, hospitality, and kindness are unmatched. They clearly enjoy what they do and make every effort to make guests feel at home. And Debbie's breakfasts are to die for! We cannot recommend staying with them highly enough. We will be back!!

Absolutely awesome bed and breakfast!!! This is the first B&B I've been to so I don't have much to compare it to but the grounds, the room, the common spaces, the breakfast and the hospitality were all AMAZING!

One of the first B&Bs we stayed at in Williamsburg, this place is right off of Jamestown Rd. We arrived late, but obtaining the key and getting to our place was a breeze. We stayed in the Washington Suite, and I loved the portrait of Washington himself, over the mantle, and the wallpaper and the decorations. Definitely a 'presidential' feel to it. Breakfast? My husband and I LOVED Ms. Debbie's stuffed french toast with the strawberries - it was oh-so-amazing! We also had the eggs Benedict the following morning, and that was so delicious, too! Dining in the main room was a little awkward, as most of the other couples kept to themselves, but Debbie and John tried to keep the conversation flowing. We knew the Williamsburg area well, so we didn't have to ask for suggestions on things to do. A cute inn and a nice treat if you're in the area.+stuffed french toast with strawberries+eggs Benedict

This is a magical place! We highly recommend it. The hosts are warm and welcoming, the food is amazing, the rooms, main house, and grounds are beaitiful. Great for families or couples. So much history nearby and just a short walk to Colonial Williamsburg. We will be back!
