A & F Seafood Deli

They are back!!I am so happy. I have waited so long and I am grateful that they reopened. This family owned business has the best seafood in Richmond. The staff is so nice and approachable, always welcoming. The food is still good and I now eat eggplant, thanks to them. I will definitely be continuing to visit and order from them. Please note that it is still very limited seating and mainly a carry out.

I believe they will have a grand opening soon but I dipped in last night to check it out. The owner helped me make a fish choice. I got my fish grilled & topped with onions & peppers with collard greens ... REAL collard greens!!! I also got a 1/4 pound of fried shrimp. All of the food was so good! They have two tables and a counter with stools. Parking was not fun at all. Had to ride around several times. The food was worth it in the end!!!

Back like we never left. So glad to see this mom and pop spot return and to learn that they have passed it down to the next generation warms my heart. Great food and great community connection The service is personal as they remember their customers and adjust accordingly to your order. This is the place you need to be real soul... Food.

So I have to update my review because these guys really redeemed themselves! Initially I thought I found a plastic object in my crab cake but NOPE I went back there and they actually took the time to explain to me and also showed me the container the crab meat comes in, and let me read the ingredients! So I've got to update and let you all know it was piece of CRAB SHELL which was actually harmless and the container clearly states it may be included with the meat.. smh! I'm glad these guys took the time to show me the actual container, they really wanted to clear their name and they did! I told them I would update the review because honestly the food is great, it's a family owned business and they're all super friendly and the dad is hilarious! I just got some of their seafood salad which I loooooovvvveee!!! Thanks so much A&F for having such pride in your business, and clearing up the misunderstanding! Can't wait to come back for another crab cake!

A great spot for lunch if you're in the area. I tell you their oyster and shrimp poboys are out of this world and you can have it on a gyro flat bread instead of a sub roll. A real hole in the wall joint but that's what makes it the best, family ran and always a smile on their face.

I was craving seafood today, but didn't want to spend $100 on it so after doing some research I decided to try this place since it was conveniently very close to my house. The place was clean, the people were very nice and welcoming and the food was good. I got the medium seafood dinner which came with fried oysters, fish, a side, & the largest scallops I have ever seen. Very surprised with how much food it came with. I will definitely be back

The place is always clean and food is great and fresh. It's a family owned restaurant, and they are so welcoming, friendly and professional. I love this place, I eat there at least once a week. This place is a hidden Gem!!! The Owner greeted me as soon as I walked in, offered suggestions and then went to cook the order. I got the fish dinner with collards & potato salad. I also ask for tartar sauce and the owner said you're not going to need tartar sauce... the fish is flavored well. Let me say, "HE WAS RIGHT" DELICIOUS!!! I also got the lemon cake. This is my new favorite place. A neighborhood To-Go spot serving Lake Trout, Croakers, Spot, Catfish, Shrimp, Oysters & Crab Legs with sides. He's been there for 30 yrs... I didn't know! Well...I'm going to make up for lost time.

No joke, best shrimp po boy I've ever had. This place is definitely the best seafood in RVA, especially for the price.
