Stopped in here twice during a two-week work trip to edenton. The first time I sat inside (by the window) for lunch and the second time ordered to go. It wasn't very crowded until I left around 1215, then you could definitely tell it was popular place. During my first experience, I ordered a southwest chicken salad off of the lunch menu. It was a great portion size, even for lunch, and I was quite full afterwards. Otherwise, it was a standard salad. The second time I ordered a house salad to go with salmon. The salmon was really good and perfectly cooked (in my opinion). The salad, however, was a little lacking in quality, I felt, compared to the southwest salad. I did like the balsamic vinaigrette dressing and was overall satisfied.

The food is good but the place is loud at only half full. Nice bar area. Waitress forgot to take our order (distracted she said).

10 stars does not do this establishment justice. SARYN provided exceptional and friendly service. Overall staff was fantastic. Food to describe it was delicious and flavorful.Ribs great taste. Shrimp wrap was also good for starters.Manhattan filet cooked perfect at medium rare with excellent flavor Red drum fish special was also great tasting. French Fries freshly made and hot.RySides were great. If we lived in Edenton our go to Friday dinner place.Highly recommend. Ask for Saryn.Portions large. For the value worth it

We had the best service and people are great. The Bartender is wonderful and has great customer service. She is fast and organized.

This is really a 3.5 review! I HAD to take off for the wait.. we stood at the hostess stand for about 10 minutes while many servers hustled by us and did not seat us or add us to a wait list. It gave me racist vibes but I can be bias in a town like this, so I decided to wait and let it play out. The bartender, Devin ended up coming over to seat us and wait on us even though we sat in the main dining area. She saved this experience for me! Loved her energy, and attentiveness. She made a fantastic drink and took care of us on the other side of the restaurant while tending the bar. Food came out really fast and was tasty! We did also get a scoop of ice cream, that was just okay. It tasted generic, French vanilla, but I'm a bit of a snob. The place could use a bit of updating and there were more flies inside than I was comfortable with. I would return and request Devin and I would order the bourbonade again!

Stopped by while in town this week based on the Yelp reviews. Cute place with friendly staff, but the food was a total disappointment. Specials for the day were grilled pimento cheese sandwich and fish tacos. Figured you can't go wrong with the specials, right? Apparently not. My wife had the sandwich, it was a drippy goopy mess, with an old oil taste on the grilled bread. My fish looked and tasted like it was straight out of a freezer Gorton's box and the flour tortillas were closer to a pita than a tortilla. Not a great experience.

Last 2 dinners the food was not good quality Even didn't pay for the meal. They were late opening because the kitchen help was late opening.

The food is great, I kind of wish they wouldn't glaze the salmon or scallops. The restaurant and bar are very comfortable and the service is fast and accurate.

So disappointing!I had fettuccine alfredo with blackened chicken - the pasta sauce was watery and the chicken so over cooked and dried out I had a hard time even cutting it.My husband had salmon and au gratin potatoes. The potatoes were undercooked and he said you could get better potatoes from a box of Betty Crocker's! The salmon was dry and even the sauce couldn't save it.
