One of the hallmarks of a great business is the owner honesty and integrity of the owner. Running a business the charge is a fair price for a good product is the minimal acceptable standard. The owner of the seventh Street market place Donna McNeely is exceptional.Many people do the right thing when the spotlight is on. The true test of character comes when we are presented with a challenge and do the right thing. I will not embarrassed Donna By recounting what she did. I will merely say that Donna does the right thing because it is the right thing to do and does so with no spotlight is on her, Rather her challenge is in the shadows.

I had no idea this place was even here! Today, while roaming around the ViBe district looking for murals, I saw a tent outside in the side parking area with sale items underneath and the side doors flung wide open to welcome visitors into this charming shop with loads of items by local artists most beach themed and mermaid inspired. This is a well-kept retail and consignment shop showcasing local artists.Prices were very reasonable as I saw a few lamps with sea glass and seashells for about $40. There are decor items and some furniture items inside painted in chalky blues and whites and greens. There is a glass jewelry display counter near the main entry as well as small items and accessories throughout such as lotions, soaps, jewelry, coasters, and art for your walls.It's fairly large inside as it's the entire yellow painted brick building with about 4-5 small rooms filled with little creative goodies. A friendly lady greeted us and made small talk while we browsed. This is a great place to find some beach-themed decor for your home, take home some souvenirs if you're only visiting, or come if you're a local and find gifts for friends at special occasions.

I've both given and received a few great gifts from here. You can find a huge variety made by local artists. Mostly home decor and the selection rotates every 30-60 days so I love coming here frequently to see what is new. It is one of my first stops when I am starting Christmas shopping every year. Perfect for people who have a nautical theme to their home. However they also have just really unique touches and items for the people who are impossible to shop for. They sometimes even have collections of prints from VB photographers capturing moments of Virginia Beach history and the natural beauty of our city.The owner and staff here are always friendly and happy to assist me finding the perfect something for me or whomever I am shopping for.

They also sellLotions and candles. A great place to buy gifts that aren't from China but madeRight here! Prices are reasonable and owner is honest and fair.

Cute shop right off the oceanfront! They have so many cool little things and it's all very reasonably priced. Lots of beachy items too. Absolutely worth a stopping in if you are in the neighborhood!!
