1701 - Virginia Beach Coworking

Was considering renting a space here to do some large scale work, but was shocked at how small it is. Looks much larger on the outside. Prices are good. The building is directly under the military jet flight path, so you can hear the extremely loud jet engines flying over all day. Not a very peaceful place to get important work done! Wear headphones or earplugs. Also not sure how many private bathrooms there are. Each workspace should have a private bathroom.

Nice place, friendly front desk staff! Looks a lot better than the photos online. Looks freshly remodeled/painted, lots of natural light. Available desks were situated a comfortable distance apart. Coffee and water provided as expected. Clean, well-appointed bathroom (I really care about bathroom quality!) Location near Commune (farm to table lunch spot) doesn't hurt. I wanted to make sure to leave a review after I saw that 1701 has only one other review from someone who maybe hasn't been to a lot of coworking spaces (no, you don't get your own bathroom, love). I don't recall hearing any jet noise, but if you grow up around it I think you don't really notice it. I plan to be back next time I'm in town.
