A friend and I decided to meet at this new eatery for an impromptu lunch. The eatery is open Mon thru Friday for breakfast and lunch and closes at 3:30.On entering several tables were full but I grabbed a table and ordered an unsweet tea. The tea was nicely brewed and I enjoyed a glass and a refill. I decided to try the cheesy shrimp and grits because I have had that dish recently at other places. The dish arrived steaming hot in a sort of gumbo like presentation. The taste was a bit Cajun and the grits creamy. My friend chose the Mama Mary breakfast and ate every morsel!The owners checked on us and service was attentive but not intrusive. The food came out quickly and was fresh.The environment was very clean with a bit of an industrial vibe. The restrooms were very clean and the entire eatery was quickly bussed and readied for customers.We sat and chilled for awhile since no one was waiting for our table. We were enthusiastically thanked as we left.I have a big heart for small locally owned businesses and 134 certainly fills a niche in providing this eatery in this location. It seems a steady stream of customers have already found what I just wandered into. More people should follow my lead!The food is nicely prepared and I'd love to see if they can add something sweet to the menu to top off the meal or to enjoy with coffee or that nicely brewed iced tea.

Hidden gem. Stopped by for a quick breakfast. The protein bowl was a good value and tasty. Can't wait to try lunch!

Ok I like this place because it's close to home other than that the food is ok, nothing to rave about. Staff is friendly and the shrimp and grits is too salty. Please change from bacon to andouille sausage for added flavor. Salt is not a flavor it is an enhancer.

My hubby & I went for lunch. I had the bbq & it was delish! Huge portion, had enough to eat the next day too. Hubby had the double cheeseburger. The meat was amazing flavor & was so juicy! We will def be back!!

Was so happy I stumbled into this charming new start up. Food and service were spot and and the owner couple were super nice.They converted this old pizza shop store front into a a modern cozy little place. The attention to detail in the menu selection and ingredients are very respectable, I look forward to many great meals at this place!!

I visit 134 Grille every opportunity I get. The food is fresh and delicious- particularly the Cajun Shrimp and Grits, oh and the Triple B burger too!The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the wait staff are all very good. Don't miss a chance to share this wonderful restaurant!

Food was so good! This is a breakfast joint! The staff is sweet the prices are reasonable I will be back. My son loves their baked bacon why is it so good?? I allows get their breakfast bowl it's just full of breakfast yummy. I would recommend this place more but 5 stars is the best I can do.

Neighborhood type diner with great food, service and portions and super people. Was in from out of town and would definitely make this place a must do if i lived here.

Today we went to 134 Grille for the first time and ate there for breakfast. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive. Portions are very generous. My husband had their breakfast bowl. He said the bacon is thick and tastes wonderful. Eggs were cooked perfect as asked- medium, no runny whites! The sausage gravy was delicious.I had a cheese omelet which was cooked fluffy! so light and delicious. Also had their potatoes and onions. They are lightly seasoned, just right. The biscuits are also light and fluffy. Not dense and heavy, not crumbling everywhere. Just perfect.We eyeballed the lunch menu and we will be back to try that too! Looks delicious!a must try! This did not disappoint at all! A hidden gem in family owned restaurants in Yorktown on 134/Magruder/Hampton Highway/Neil Armstrong!
