Vinny's Ristorante

Our experience at Vinny's was nothing short of amazing. The server went above and beyond to accommodate gluten-free needs. We indulged in the mushroom risotto and the chicken sausage gorgonzola cream pasta - both dishes were not only gluten-free but also incredibly delicious.The only regret we had was not saving room for dessert. Vinny's offers a tempting array of desserts, all of which sounded absolutely delicious. Next time, we'll be sure to leave a little extra space to indulge in the sweet side of Vinny's.

This place had decent food. I ordered a caprese salad, spaghetti marinara, tiramisu, and port. I thought the spaghetti was okay, but wasn't a fan of the sauce or the cheese. They were kind enough to serve me a child's size, since I already ordered other things like the salad and bread. I kind of wished I ordered a different entree. The salad was good for what it was but it wasn't filling, and it seemed too small for it to be $10. I'm also a little miffed because they had me waiting at the entrance for quite a long time; nobody noticed me for a solid five minutes before they asked how many was in my party, and then it took another five minutes to seat me even though the restaurant wasn't that full. Once they seated me they were quite attentive. I dig the vibe; I like the lighting, and the music selection added to the relaxing ambiance.

Loved this place! Food great, atmosphere great, service great, dessert great! We ordered clams as appetizer and the red sauce they cooked them in was like a delicious soup. We shared a pasta dish, Carbanara, and it was so good. Desserts all home made! This place rocks! Server was polite and had a great personality. Great 1st dinner night on our 30th Anniversary get away at Friday Harbor. Thank you!!!

Just ate at Vinny's again. I stand by the first review, still awesome although the carbonara changed slightly from the first review. Added photos this time.

We enjoyed a quick dinner here! Keep in mind we came in off season...so we were the last to be seated at about 8:15 pm. Which is understandable for a small business in Friday Harbor in March! The staff was very friendly and quick service. We tried the chicken picatta and prawn appetizer! Both tasty and fresh. I'd recommend coming back for sure :)

What a great meal at Vinny's tonight. Very popular place with great food and great service. I had a perfect cesar Salad and the Salmon special which was cooked just right and it had risotto and asparagus! My wife had the eggplant parmigiana with capalini and asparagus. They were delicious. The special blueberry cobbler was incredible!

Feeling all the good island vibes here at Vinny's in Friday Harbor. From the warm greeting by the hostess to the great service from Cory. Perched on one of the side streets in the downtown area, you can tell that this spot is frequented by return patrons. They have a nice cocktail and wine menu to pair with traditional Italian fare. We started off with the signature calamari and garlic prawns. Mains were good portion size and the fave at the table was the carbonara. Ended with the classic tiramisu.

Friendly professional staff.Vinny's is the best restaurant on the island for a fine lively friendly dining experience.First impressions are first impressions: Greeted by a very accommodating Maitree-d who sat me at the perfect table in the corner. Great quiet little space where I could feel very comfortable being at a table for one:)The me is was a wonderful assortment of pastas, salads, apps, and main courses. I chose the rec of my waiter and ordered the seafood pasta. With an app of fried oysters. This was a very indulgent caloric meal that I thoroughly enjoyed. Honestly just the most delicious fresh meal I have had in a long time.The staff was super attentive. I just loved my dining experience here and you will too.Ciao!

Mediocre atmosphere (hello Wayfair!), Food, and service, at best, but nice people. Eggplant parm was burned, sauce on pasta was yes, a good Tangy tomato, but no Italian spices whatsoever, and was cold, like gazpacho. Mozzarella was tough like shoe leather--or plastic (yes, I got the Cheese touch!). They should be introduced to fresh garlic, oregano, and (gasp) salt. How hard is that? Shake up the kitchen or open a (poor) pizza place. Maybe do frozen meals or airplane food. Perhaps premade hospital Meals? I would eat this if I were in a hospital with an incurable disease. Maybe.Server was really a good guy but goofed order, took napkin and knife and never replaced, then hid from us (understandably). Arrivederci!

I was by myself and made reservations the night before. They asked if I wanted to sit at the bar or in the restaurant. And I asked for the restaurant. I was seated In the restaurant but at a high table. I avoided the bar because of high seating and ended up in the worst seat in the place with a window Iooking into the kitchen on my right. The hostess called it entertainment. Overall, the food was "meh". The house salad was okay and I can make a better aperol spritz. The bread was not as good as what you'd get at Safeway. I ordered the special Mediterranean Sea Bass with risotto and the dish was bland: I could taste some garlic and that was it. The fish was mushy. The best thing was the chocolate hazelnut crunch gelato and coffee for dessert. I do have to say my waiter was great, and I tipped him well.
