We love this place, there's just nothing like it! Come for the brilliantly curated collection of hard-to-find beers and the couple who knows how to match your tastes like your childhood librarian and stay for that perfect pouf, Toshi.

This isn't my local beer store, these are my neighbors who happen to sell me beer. On top of that, they are the nicest couple with the best taste in craft beer within miles. Also, if you're lucky you'll get to say hello to their cute dog, Toshi!!!

Awesome and huge selection of beer & wine! If you are looking for something special I am sure you will find it here. The owner is super nice and has a lot of great recommendations! I myself don't drink but I love to get gifts and treats here and therefore I am happy to get a good and reliable support.

As a deal hunter, sometimes I feel genuinely mad at myself when I find out that I've been missing a good deal. Discovering Vine St. Market was one such occasion. A couple of weekends ago, I had a friend in town from Pennsylvania. She had a request from a friend back home to pick up a certain beer: Alaskan Smoked Porter by Alaskan Brewing Company. I took her to Downtown Spirits because I figured that if anyone would have it, it would be them because they stock such a large variety. We found it, and she bought 3 bottles at over $9 each. The next day, walking back from the Chihuly museum to Seattle Glassblowing Studio, we walked past Vine St. Market and my friend asked "Can we stop in there?" There we found the same exact beer at $6 each. She could've bought another beer and a half at that price! Well, they don't sell half beers, so, she could've bought another beer and had money leftover! I was mad at myself that I didn't bring my friend in for the best deal! But I didn't know! Now I know. The lady owner is a gem! So friendly and helpful!Caveats (and while Downtown Spirits doesn't have to worry, I'll always be a regular): They don't have a humungous selection (hey, it's a little shop!), they don't sell liquor (stick to beer and wine), they don't have cold beer or wine, and they're cash only. That's how they can keep their prices so low! I'll be back because I love a good deal! Stop in today and stock up for the weekend!

I came to visit Seattle and wanted to pick up some good beer. This place is fantastic. The knowledgeable owner(Brennan) who is excellent to conversate with definitely cares as he remembered me when I came back and hoped I was safe from my travels to and from The Gorge. I was happy to bring my friends in when I came the second time and they loved interacting with their cute dog Toshi. Next time I am in town I am definitely stopping by again.

I love this place. They have a fantastic selection of unique local beers. I always try a random stout from their selection and have yet to be disappointed. I also like to grab a few blondes, IPAs, sours, etc...for friends/family when they're in town, beer genres that I know nothing about. Fortunately, the woman that works there is incredibly knowledgeable about EVERYTHING that they carry and has been able to make a solid recommendation that my people always end up loving. I highly recommend this place

Great little neighborhood shop. I've going here for awhile. If you want a curated beer, Mead, or cider, they have a good selection of local and international. They owners are very knowledgeable in helping find the right drink.

I am a complete wine beginner. I was just seeking an expensive bottle for a birthday. However, the owners are incredibly nice and welcoming. Let us taste some wines and helped us pick out based on what we liked and ended up showing us a cheaper option rather than the most expensive just to make a quick buck. Small little shop but honestly the nicest little shop I have come across in a long time!
