Vine Ripe Market

This is grandmas go-to market for all things international. It's pretty decent across the board with a huge smattering of all kinds of fresh produce, meats, deli, and packaged goods. I'm partial to Trader Joe's for better prices, but there are plenty of things here that you can't find there.

It is my go to place. They have a good variety of middle eastern foods. Their lentil soup and Greek salad are delicious. It is clean, well stocked and friendly. They have good sales !

I called in an order for Pizzas which my family really enjoys however this is not the first time where either the service is rude, not in the timeframe set, on top of that the pizza they forgot to make, (perhaps the language barrier) was undercooked. I have English learners in my family and I always try my best to be respectful to understand through the dialect, however the ladies working the bakery are not courteous or respectful of clients time and don't seem to strive to keep the quality of their pizza high.

I love grocery shopping here! The prices on the produce are particularly amazing, and I love that I can pick out just a few carrots for example instead of having to get a whole bag. They have great sales that change from week to week and a wide variety of Middle Eastern and European goods that I can't find anywhere else.

Excellent made to order pizzas- fresh ingredients. Produce and meat very reasonably priced. Deli counter orders are sliced and packed like professionals.Other aisle stocked items though tempting some may be overpriced.

Martin is awesome. He gives recommendations and they are all good! The pizza are delicious and there are so many options. He takes time to explain the ingrdients on each pastries

Let me just say I have been going to this spot for many years.I have primarily shopped here for all my produce. (I do have a bunny and I need to purchase a lot of veggies for him too) Here are frequently purchased items:1. Grapes leaves2. All different kinds of fresh feta3. Enjoy their baked pastries(super fond of the mushroom cheese one, but I haven't seen this one in a while)4. Wide variety of fresh produce that has weekly sales5.Different types of frozen Indian bread6.Spices galore7.Freshly squeezed juicesFor the past few months, I noticed their bakery/pizza section has boomed.Martin from this department is very friendly, personable and kind.I just recently got the 2 pizzas for one deal. (SUCH an amazing deal!!!)Pizzas were huge, dough was fresh and soft. Good amount of toppings, not a single part was overdone or undercooked. I never pass this area without getting something from the glass case. I do believe on the weekends they have fresh meat grilling out front. I haven't tried this yet, but the smell is to die for, It's next on my list.I would consider this place a hidden gem. This is one of the few international markets in San Diego where you can get all kinds of foods . The best food anywhere!

Martin was great and service awesome. Pizzas look amazing and love the deals too. Much better then the big pizza chains for a authentic pizza.
