I had a very confusing visit to Village Pizzeria. They lack clear signage and flow, which left my cousin and I waiting in a line we thought was for checking in for dine-in but ended up being the takeout line. Once that was cleared up, we waited only for about 15 minutes before being seated. Our server was very nice and helpful as well as understanding when I had to send back the nastiest cocktail I've ever had in my entire life. I can't remember what it was called and I can't forget its awful flavor. Thankfully, the pizza helped make up for it as it was very tasty.

Some of the best pizza around the Puget Sound, not to mention great service, fantastic water views, and a great atmosphere. We've been enjoying their pizza for decades and it never disappoints! (Well, there was one time during lockdown, but that's a massive aberration.) Sometimes less is more. I think this is one of those times. There you have it. Great food, great prices, great service, and great views!!

I really wanted to like this place as the view is amazing and the vibe is decent but the food is so bland and the service was not great. If it was inexpensive, I would not be so critical. But it's on the high side of normal so I expect more. I ordered the chicken pesto aioli sandwich. How does that end up with zero flavor? Maybe they are all dedicated to zero salt? The pesto was flavorless. The aioli was flavorless. I also ordered a Cesar. I couldn't eat it. Odd tasting lettuce and no Cesar flavor. My son ordered a pizza and said it was a B- It would have been better if there was a tasty sauce on it. Our waitress wore a pink sweatshirt that was incredibly wrinkled. Someone teach her how to fold up her clothes please. At almost $80 for lunch for three (included one soda and two water drinkers), this is not an inexpensive place. I think they need a taste tester in the kitchen and some better management. There was nothing here that couldn't be fixed in ten minutes if management cared.

For us this is one of the best restaurants on South Whidbey Island, and we have been consistent patrons for 20 years. Beautiful view! Wonderful drinks and the pizza is so Good. We like the pesto pizza neopolitan style and it's always served piping hot and fresh from the oven. All of the salads are good, from the traditional to spinach and the Caesar. Sometimes service can be a bit slow and I'm sure it's hard to find good help in an area with limited population. It will not stop us from coming back again and again.

Not many places were offering immediate seating on a Saturday evening in the small downtown of Langley, so we were grateful that Village Pizzeria was willing to serve us at the bar. They did preface that we would only be able to have a slice of pizza and a drink but we were too hungry to try and wait for anything else. At 6:30 pm, all that was left to choose were from 3 slices of mushroom or 2 cheese slices and so I got a slice of mushroom and the house salad. Thankfully I found that I was able to add some toppings like pesto, pepperoni, and roasted garlic. When food came out, the slice was huge and it hit the spot. I enjoyed my honey crisp apple cider and the salad was solid. (You can tell I was a bit hangry before food came out LOL.)All in all, I enjoyed the food and we had our round 2 meal across the street so everything turned out perfect.

Second attempt because my first review never stuck! I realized hours later that the first review posted to a different restaurant! Oops!As I was saying it was a beautiful clam & garlic pizza with requested light layer of marinara, olive oil and garlicky mushrooms! Oh and I forgot, bacon (or maybe, Senior Moment, chopped prosciutto, not sure!) Excellent chewy crust and beautiful Caesar salad on the side! A ferry ride from Edmonds to Langley and now a 45 min to 1 hour drive, from Anacortes...but considering NOBODY MAKES CLAM & GARLIC PIZZAS AROUND HERE ODDLY it is well worth traveling for this delectable treat! HAVE ONE "MY WAY!"...you wont regret it

My partner was craving for a pizza! So we gave this place a try.Food - We got the clam and garlic. Huge pizza! I prefer much thinner dough. This is not exactly it but it was tasty. We don't see a lot of clam and garlic pizzas elsewhere. It's American style Italian food here a bit like Olive Garden.Service - was friendly enough.Ambiance - Nice location with amazing view! We were lucky we were there on a sunny day. You can see pizzas being made. Relaxed and family friendly vibe.I wouldn't go out of my way. Seems to be the only pizzeria in town. My partner's cravings were satisfied so we were happy!

Another Saturday for a great pizza and a quick drink after wandering around the shops at Langjey and a traditional finish at Village Pizzeria!Their large village pizza never disappoints and we prefer it to Pagliaci back in town and don't regret eating it later. We have them leave the Anchovies off half for me.... They always oblige. They have a great Blood Orange Hefe from Crucible Brewing in Everett that's the bomb and I don't drink too much beer. One I always love. My wife got a Cider she really liked called Honey Crisp from Seattle Cider. We could only get a two top at the bar but they worked that out for us with the help of a nice patron. No view today but we've seen it many times and still turned to look from the easily. It was actually fun to just sit at this bar and chat with the bartender while she did her piece work. Really nice folks here most always! Pretty well run machine but short business hours. Really recommend trying and they're full of great drink and food options!

Came in yesterday to pick up a to-go.The manager (I assume) was screaming at employees in front of everyone, the kitchen workers looked dejected and were obviously being verbally abused. How is this guy employed here? The pizza was nice, the experience was sad. I feel bad for the people working at this establishment. Do better.
