Village Burger - Tucker

Local tavern eatery vibe. Elevated seating and floor tables. Place was busy but not overly crowded. You know it's good when lots of folks are there seated and picking up to go. I came for the burger and was not disappointed. Don't like thin and crispy burgers ? They've got you covered. Two thick, and may I say juicy, burgers. Cooked well done. Just to my liking. Nice soft bun to soak up all that beef juice. I loaded mine with everything but cheese. The fries were nice and hot and plenty and did not make the drive home. The burger was so big I had to eat it twice, once for lunch and the other half for dinner. No complaints there. I would just request from staff a little more courtesy with regard to allergies/food sensitivities. I asked a question about the ingredients in their fry seasoning (with an eye for getting them next time). The answer I received was "I don't know." while truthful - it's not helpful. Not even a "Let me go check for you."I shouldn't have to ask them to go find out. There was enough staff behind the counter to cover while one of them went for the ingredient list. It's not just this eatery. I've had the same reaction, or should I say non-reaction, elsewhere. These are young folks, and someday they will be older folks with kids with allergies or with food sensitivities of their own. Then it will be a matter of importance to them I reckon.

It's Village Burger. You know the drill: burgers, fries, maybe a hot-dog or some wings. Just go and satisfy that hunger. It's simple food, and they simply do it right. The inside is clean and simple, too. Nothing too exotic or raucous. Just time to spend with your people and their food. And staff is generally nice and helpful. They make good suggestions, and you can tell the people in the kitchen are hustling as they produce your food. But here's where a three-star review turns to a four-star review: The ice cream is excellent. The other Village Burger I've been to doesn't do what this one does with their ice cream. Here, it's just BETTER. I'm a regular. So if you see me there, be sure to say HI.

Consistently tasty and well prepared food. This time we came for my birthday as I was wanting some soft serve ice cream, which is more of a rarity in restaurants. The good thing is that you can eat it inside so it's not melting quickly. Staff is always nice and you can tell they enjoy working together.

You know that sometimes, when small businesses have more than one location, something as far as customer service can be lost. However, that is not the case with VB. I have eaten at both locations, and they never miss a beat. The staff at the tucker location is always a joy to interact with. The food quality is always the same at either location. The burgers are always juicy and don't taste processed . I enjoy the spicy kick of the onion rings. I enjoy their current burger and wing combo. I suggest you try the wings with old bay seasoning. They are always cooked to perfection. A nice crispy outside,yet juicy on the inside.

The best turkey burger I have had in GA, thus far! Love the fresh cut fries too! I always order ahead, so I cannot really speak on the service. It's always to-go or delivered to be at work, so I don't know what kind of vibes they have inside. The Turkey burger is a must!

Village burger is our go to burger spot consistently great across the board. If you guys would like to put a location at Mall Of Georgia it's wide open and ready!

Order taker was VERY helpful and gave tons of suggestions options etc. Took a little too long with all the questions but at least they got it right and cared enough. Burger was wrapped in lettuce and very very good. The onion rings were ok. Not my preference of batter. Too crunchy vs smooth crisp but I imagine most people may enjoy tons of glutenous crunch. Its a good place for a quick bite.

I'm always looking for good burger sits near my job in Tucker,Ga. Found this place through yelp and the prices looked reasonable and sounds good so I came to try it. My food was ready when I arrived to pick it up, which is always great. The burger was good, definitely got the job done. The bread was kind of flat but the bacon was cooked just right as well as the Pattie's.The fries, weren't my favorite but weren't bad. I prefer my fries a little well done for the crunch and these weren't that. But they were good, just would have liked more seasoning. Overall, I'd definitely come back when I just want to feed my burger craving

The food is good, but the atmosphere is not desirable during supper on school nights because there is a large group of kids from Tucker High School who take over the 2 to 3 booths and congregate in the doorway area that you go down to order your food. They don't order any food or drinks and they are very loud. They are gathering there and hanging out waiting for someone to pick them up from school. They are taking away seats for paying customers and they make the customers feel very uncomfortable. Something needs to be done about it. There are high school kids working behind the counter and they say they've complained to management but nothing has been done about the situation. It goes on during the school year. Management needs to do something about this loitering situation!
