I am mad... that you haven't tried this food yet. We were heckled on the sidewalk on our way to broadway- "come grab a slice"it was too early for a snack as we had already had a QT pretzel otw in (cinnamon sugar), but due to the friendliness and fun of the interaction on the corner, we decided that we needed to come back the next day. Boy, we were impressed & happy we came back! Christian, our waiter, was so attentive, kind, and offered to fill my diet coke up for the 4th time. Most other servers would have given me a pamphlet on addiction. The food was excellent- we tried the eggplant parm, pizza, chicken something, and meatballs. Meatballs are interesting as they have brisket in them- thought they were really good!!If you care anything about sauce, it has a really good flavor profile when paired. On its own it's a little sweet. Pasta needed a little less time in the pot- I would ask for it aldente ;)IT HAS NY WOOD FIRE STYLE PIZZA. SCORE!!!The inside is decorated very cute. They had live music as we left. also, butter mints ! Please try this cute little joint on the corner.

A group of 8 guys were on our way to the Tennessee Titan v. NY Jets game today. All the other breakfast places had a two hour waitlist. But Brandy (one of the owners of Villa Castrioti) said "come on in boys " at 10:30 am - just as they were opening. She said today's special breakfast pizza with sausage, scrambled eggs, special gravy and spinach and mozzarella. We were skeptical- but the pizza was hot, crisp and delicious. Other items on the menu were great Chicken Parm sub with salad, fries or pasta, gnocchi and the big surprise Chocolate Zeppole with Carmel sauce. The New Yorkers were impressed with the hot, sweet crispy dough balls which rivaled our city. The strawberry martini, euro seltzer, craft drafts and coffee were delicious. The bartender was fun and really enjoys her job. Beautiful restaurant and great management. Highly recommended.

This is a new, authentic fine dining Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Nashville. I made a reservation for my wife and I a few days after they first opened their doors, and I have to say, we are pleasantly surprised of how great our experience was!From the murals on the walls to the chairs to the overall vibe, it is a truly beautiful space. The food is even better! I had the beef risotto and my wife got the lobster newberg. Incredible! We also had the toasted ravioli for starters on our servers recommendation (I forgot his name) as well as a giant salad full of veggies which were super delicious. Their wine list is extensive and quality. Cocktail menu looks fantastic. My wife LOVED their lemondrop martini. They have an incredible lineup of spirits, including some rare and hard to find bourbons etc. My parents had been to the other one in Cordova multiple times and I cant wait to take them to this new one in downtown Nashville!Overall I give this new restaurant 5 stars. From the service to the food to the ambiance, everything was spectacular. Also - since it seems I am the first to leave a review on this platform, I took the liberty of taking all the pictures I could of the menus and spirit selections for all of you to see. The restaurant was pretty empty, probably because it just opened a few days ago apparently, so I hope this helps Villa Castrioti get some exposure.We will be back!!!!!

To me seemed a tourist trap. Shrimp pasta was $48 and was not good. (Menu said it was $44 but they charged me $48) Caprese salad has red onions on it ??? What are you thinking?? Food was mediocre at best. I had linguine and clams and never found a clam. Would not return

Stopped in for a quick bite while wandering around in Nashville. great appetizers, fresh and bright red sauce, and the pizza was delicious!

Highly Recommend! Excellent Food, service and entertainment. We had a friend, restaurant critic, visiting from Hawaii. He loves his fresh fish and he was blown away. Said it was the best Diablo he has ever had. The wait staff were attentive and beautifully decorated. The live music was perfect, by the talented Randy Boen.

Absolutely an amazing experience across the board. Food was the best Italian food in the city. Our waitress Amber did a phenomenal job with all our needs. I will definitely come back here to eat!!

This is definitely a hidden gem off the main strip. Food was amazing, saltimbocca was the bomb! Meatball appetizer for the win. Christian was a great server & very attentive with good recommendations for options.We are traveling & I would come back to Nashville to eat here again. I wish we had food this good back home.

Although my hubby raved about his veal parm, I cant say the same for my chicken parm. The cheese was way overdone, with barely any sauce. Took one bite, and was done.

Just had a wonderful dinner at Villa Castrioti. We reserved the private room for our team of 12 and had the best experience. Food 10/10, our server Amber 10/10, the environment 10/10, oh and the portions are good for dinner and lunch the next day!Can't say enough amazing things about this place. If you're looking for an upscale yet accessible Italian meal (lunch or dinner) this is the place. I can't wait to go back and try their dining room and bar area, both of which were equally as vibey! All around wonderful experience
