Another spot that drew me in due to the high reviews. I went basic to be safe and ordered a latte with hazelnut syrup. Coffee tasted watered down and lacked flavor. Server was super monotoned with a low voice level. The place was super humid inside, with flys hanging around in the middle of the shop. Based on my experience, It almost felt like the coffee wasn't made with love. I was more sad about my experience than upset or disappointed. Louie gives this place a one star, if you are a tourist don't be fooled by the high reviews. Storyville coffee is right down the street.

I stopped by seattle coffee works on a Monday morning around 10am and the space was half-full. I stayed for about four hours because I had a lot of studying to do!! I loved the natural light of the cafe and there was a steady stream of people with the cafe getting to full capacity during the afternoon.I ordered the 12oz matcha latte ($6.17). I asked for this iced but didn't complain when it was made hot since it was kinda chilly in the morning. I also thought the swan art was soo cute since I haven't seen that before. Taste wise I was really let down because it just tasted like hot milk. I come to this conclusion with most hot drinks which is why I normally get iced, and I really wish I could speak for the other drinks. But as for the matcha, I didn't really taste good flavor at all :(I will say the workers are really kind. They're attentive to customers and know how to handle difficult situations well. There was a homeless man that wandered in and he was told they have a shirt policy but was offered coffee or water. I really respected that! On another note I think it's a decent place to get work done! I had no issues with the wifi and it never got super loud. I will say there's not too many outlets; at one point a customer asked if she could charge her phone at my outlet source and another customer moved a table to reach the outlet also next to my table. I had pretty high expectations for this cafe because of the high reviews and it's prime location. Maybe I need to give it another shot! I was reading the little card on my table and the same owner runs Victrola so there's lots of coffee history there.

Standard flavors with a few specialty syrups to give you a multitude of options for your morning caffeine fix. Ordering easy and there is plenty of seating. There are even some chairs outside that will allow you to enjoy the crisp morning air

Seattle Coffee Works in Downtown is now Victrola. And.... I LOVE IT. They're currently renovating during open hours. It's so cozy in here. My partner and I manifested this. Hoping to find a coffee shop that's close to home and FEELS like home. We still loved Seattle Coffee Works when it was Seattle coffee works because it was our convenient spot but the coffee was not always great. However, Victrola's seating is super cozy. I love the color scheme. The coffee hits the spot. Today's a great day at Victrola Downtown :) Mind you there are two Victrolas now near eachother, this is on 2nd Ave. Another is on 3rd Ave. I recommend the 2nd Ave location. I wonder if 3rd will be taken away.

The service here was prompt and straightforward. There was plenty of seating available on a Saturday afternoon with a few people reading books or catching up with friends. The vibe of this place was great, however the iced hazelnut latte and hot matcha latte with oat milk were lousy and bad. The iced hazelnut latte tasted acidic. The matcha was grassy, had a strong oat milk taste, and was flavorless all at the same time--it was thrown away after 3 good sips. While this place has good reviews overall, I will not be back for a second chance given each drink was over $7 and tasted horrible.

This spot was a really lovely ambiance for working or reading. The natural lighting is quite good. The staff are also very friendly and helpful and they're quite efficient. I really liked the matcha too. They had a lot of different milk options too which was nice. I'd definitely come back!

Grabbed coffee and worked for a bit here, good coffee but their seating so limited. 3 tables at the max and couple of chairs. PSL Latte and muffin were good.

I stopped in early on a Sunday and was in and out quickly. The latte I grabbed was amazing! Very creamy and smooth with no burnt edges. There are chairs if you want to duck out of the rain real quick for some coffee or want to work from a coffee shop for a bit.
