The best tacos in Tennessee! Fast, friendly service. Freshly made with fresh ingredients. Quiet during off-peak hours but packed full of the local university students during mealtime. We travel 45 minutes to enjoy this well-kept secret. Everything we had was worth the drive. Our new local taco shop!

Stopped at Victors based on an add they had posted in their window. Once inside I tried to order the special and was told it didn't include the (4) Al Pastor tacos as advertised. I still ordered the special and when it arrived, the tacos were street tacos (small) but had next to no meat, just lots of onions and cilantro some kind of mix they make.In addition, the lime wedges were cut so thin, they are useless to squeeze any kind of juice that it may have had. No salsa or hot sauce was provided either. Walked out still hungry.

Open on Sunday. So thumbs up. I ordered 3 mulitas, chorizo, pastor, and tripas. It was all good, the pastor could use a little more marinating and some pineapple but I'll definitely go back and try some other items. The salsa was not bad either, in comparison to other establishments that tried to serve me "salsa".

If you like CA Mexican food, this place is a must try. The food is so good, the best/closest I've found to CA Mexican food - beans are bomb, meat is delicious, and tortillas are solid (aka they don't fall apart).

My wife comes here often and loves the food here. I got to try it for the first time a few months ago and I am now a fan as well. The carne asada tacos were absolutely delicious and the queso and chips were very tasty as well. Their mild tomatillo salsa was very tasty and I would take that home if I could. The staff are also very kind and the food is very affordable, which is great. This is a little gem in Cookeville and I would stop in any time I'm in the area!

The food is here is phenomenal. The cashier there is always friendly. Every time I've been there the place has been quiet and not too busy. The place is also clean and right next to TTU, which is amazing.
