Victorinos Pizzeria

The Bonita white is soooo yummy! No red sauce, just white cheeses. It's heavenly. I've always loved the calzones and I haven't tried them since the change of ownership. It's on my list!This used to be New York pizza. It's under new ownership. The El Pollo Grill owner purchased this pizza shop. If you haven't tried El Pollo Grill, you MUST try it. They have some great taco Tuesday specials. Their tacos are amazing! Once you try them, you will become a regular customer. So good! These are two great places to eat, right next to each other!

Besides having delicious pepperoni pizza and wings, this place has amazing customer service and are avid in keeping this place clean. I mean, just look how neat and organized this place is! Despite being a small pizzeria, they manage to have ample seating. I always order takeout being ready between 10 and 25 minutes depending on how busy they get. As for the days that I dine in, I enjoy my experience as they have stocked utensils, TV, and appealing artwork on the walls. By far the best local, clean, and delicious pizzeria.

Pizza was delicious!!!The best part,if you want to enjoy the two best and most popular ones you can have them in one!!!We loved it !!!Enjoying the outside patio while you wait, it is also a good option especially on these summer days.Thank you all for the excellent service!!

I used to love the old place NY Pizzeria. They have the same guy making the pizzas. I use to go here once a week. I came to try out the new place. I come to get the slices. Pizza was good but not the same. It was good taste but not the same. The pizza seems thiner and crispier than before. The pepperonis are different too. They seem more greasy. Love that they still have ricotta pizza since it is my favorite. I have been here a couple of times and hope they get it tasting closer to the original spot. Service was quick and fast. Got the pizza and they heated up the slices for a few minutes.

This spot just opened (back in January) and decided to check them out. I like that you can have a slice of each flavor, so they just grabbed a slice of everything to make a whole pie and heated it up for us. We also ordered some garlic knots and a calzone with ham, sausage, and jalapenos. The calzone was huge and cheesy! We also tried some wings- buffalo, barbecue, and garlic parmesan. The wings were nice and saucy and pizza slices were great. I saw that they also has subs, so I might try one next time!

We had Victorinos Pizza for the first time today. They had a special we couldn't resist, and we'll be back again! We had the New York style Mediterranean pizza- vegetarian with pesto sauce, feta cheese, sundried tomatoes, and we added olives. Super flavorful! You can also order these deep dish. We ordered food to go, but there a couple of tables in the restaurant and several tables outside if you'd rather eat in.

Came here this past week and got a deep dish pizza (god father), some knots, a Caesar salad, and garlic wings. I definitely thought everything was good except the marinara. Such a great pizza but the sauce was lacking. Straight score and no love. Would highly recommend a revision of the sauce. I worked at pizzeria for 10 years and I know my stuff. The knots? Almost there. Beautiful presentation but still dry. Wings were decent. Salad was fire. The cashier he was just lovely. I appreciated his service. I'd come back, but only if the sauce got some more love in it.

I saw some of their slices when I walked in to order and thought... oh... this should be pretty good. So I doubled down and got a deep dish since I'm from the east coast originally and had a craving. Their deep dish wasn't terribleeee buttttt it definitely wasn't high quality. I've had several deep dishes in San Diego, maybe from 5 different places and this was unfortunately the worst one. It will full you up however. It's heavy. There's a lot of cheeses used and a lot of sauce which is perfect. But I felt like it lacked a proportionate amount of pepperonis and it lacked a decent crust. It was at a decent price and so I think i got what I paid for. I'd come again but this time to try the NY styles. I have a feeling those might be a bit better. Inside is super clean and bright. It's not a ton of seating available. Maybe enough for 10 people? Be prepared to grab a pizza to go. Towards the end of the night, within the last 30 minutes of the business closing, the pizza slices are half off. Which I think is a steal. Also ordered 12 chicken wings. Half Buffalo, half Garlic Parm. The Buffalo was decent. The garlic parm should be avoided. It wasn't tossed properly and felt like a waist of money. It also felt like it lacked seasoning. I had it with blue cheese and that made it okay. The price of the wings were not worth it. I'd probably avoid getting them again in the future.

I've noticed their special sign for a while now every time i stop by the Starbucks next door. You don't really notice them from the road.if you're reading this and want quality pizza, this is your sign to try them.I normally go to Luigis in either golden hills or north park for quality pizza but dang this spot is just as good! Great slice size! The Bonita White Ny and the Pineapple Slices were both delicious!Plenty of seating both inside and out. Music is great and the decor is baseball theme which my son liked.I missed the lunch special by 3 minutes and the guy at the cashier didn't honer the lunch special price of a slice and a drink so I had to pay full price for my little boy and I which I found to be a bummer. You know kids don't walk as fast so I'm bummed he wasn't a little flexible with us but it is what it is. That's the only reason I knocked off one star. Hopefully management reads this and is able to talk to the staff for future customers who experience the same as me.

I am basing this review based on California pizza places and not overall as a whole. Anyone outside Cali know it's really hard to get good pizza here. I've been told over and over again it's the water but I am sure there is more to it. Since I'm a fan of El Pollo Grill I was excited to see what they would do with this location. I used to buy from NY Pizza here often especially on Tuesdays when they had their slices specials. It was decent and close to home. I saw all the advertisements they had on Facebook and noticed a free slice day. I went and the place was packed. I got a slice of pepperoni and margherita slice. They both looked good and the cheese blend they use is perfect. I must say probably one of the best blends I've had in Cali. I would of been happy with just a cheese slice. Much better than all these horrible pizza places that just use basic restaurant bulk cheese that has very little flavor. They had twice as many employees as NY Pizza had but maybe that was just because of the Grand Opening slice promotion. The employee that helped me was very nice. I will definitely be back!
