Vic & Ola's

We were greeted graciously as we entered Vic & Ola's. I felt as if I was in the owner's home. Cozy/Welcoming.Our server, John (who also prepared our cocktails splendidly), was so engaging, knowledgeable and helpful (it's not easy trying to order authentic Italian fare when you come from the South ).I don't know for sure, but I'm betting the chef is world-class trained. My meal was exceptional.

We came on a Monday evening to celebrate my father in law's birthday.We were seated right away and the service was great - our waters were never empty.The complimentary bread came with a delicious herb butter that was really special!For a starter, we shared the cheese bread (not pictured but comes with 3 pieces) - it had the teeniest little hint of spice but I would not call it "spicy". I ordered the Pasta di Isabel, which was delicious. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, pasta done well and the flavor from the Calabrian chilis, garlic, and cheese meshed well.My husband ordered the sausage pasta rigatoni and liked his dish as well. The waiter recommended getting a side of the creamy vodka sauce. Don't think it was necessary, but the flavor was good.Overall, the meal was delicious!!

Food is hit and miss. Same with service...could really, really use a menu refresh. We were regulars at one time but became frustrated with so many inconsistencies. Seems service workers don't stay as turn over is pretty high. Simply too many more consistent options out there.When good they are very good, but the bad unfortunately is very bad. We simply became bored with the same old tired menu as well.

Great spot for a delicious lunch or a romantic dinner! We've always had good experiences here and the service is always wonderful!

I had my first V&O experience last night and I was super impressed. My friend Arlene chose this restaurant for her birthday dinner with our group of five women. We were seated on the back patio, which was perfect as it was a beautiful evening.We started with drinks and appetizers. I had a glass of red, another friend had white, and I think a couple of others had cocktails. We all enjoyed the burrata and eggplant meatballs.For entrees, I shared an order of garlic shrimp and Pasta a'la Norma with the birthday girl... we were both pleased with our selections. Others at the table enjoyed the Cod entree and a Pasta Pomodoro.Service was a bit slow and not the most friendly, but other than that, all was fabulous... Prices are reasonable considering the ambiance and quality of the food. I will be back!

Service was impeccable, each staff member welcomed us. It was so warm and inviting. We dined outdoors and it was set up beautifully. The three courses were all delicious. My halibut was cooked to perfection. The cannoli I shared with my mates made an epic finale. I look forward to returning soon.

Yet another great Yelp find! This place makes some of the best Italian food one will eat. Staff was professional, courteous and delivered with amazing service. I do recommend reservations as this place fills up fast and be advised can get a bit loud and I definitely recommend the Lasagna. All 5 layers of it!

Beautiful restaurant. I love the chic decor. The food was amazing from appetizer to dessert. The menu had quite a nice assortment of delicious dishes. My o my problem was we were seated right by the door , very close to the hostess stand. It would have been okay if people entering and waiting for their table did not stand by our table and basically hover over our table. Due to the proximity to the entrance it was also quite noisy. It made conversation difficult especially since there were six of us.

We arrived before our friends and got to enjoy a glass or two of the fabulous Montepulciano & enjoyed our view. We were treated with a great view of the Arizona sun shining through the beautiful stained glass window. We both always get the lasagna; which is fabulous but wanted to try 'something new'. He chose the Halibut as dinner (as he recently had some dental work done & needed soft food.) which was very tasty with the mashed potatoes. I selected the Linguine & Clams and it was also quite spectacular! And, we finished our fabulous meal with Tiramisu as we always do! Love Vic & Ola's! Can't wait for our next visit!! Maybe next time we will try the Butter Cake & Gelato...

Not great, not authentic. Just returned from two weeks in Italy so maybe it's not fair to judge but NEVER would they allow for cheese on seafood let alone cheese on pretty much every dish. Just not the way things are done in Italy. Of course you can ask for cheese but on vegetables or seafood you will get some very strange looks. Same as if you ask for oat milk which I found out the hard way lol. Wanted to like this play but just don't see it. Bread was good at least they don't try and charge for that here but otherwise you can do much better, sorry.
