Versailles Cafe and Pastries

I recently visited Versailles Cafe and Pastries with my family to indulge in some French treats, and I was thoroughly impressed. The beauty of the cafe itself is captivating, and the quality of the pastries and desserts is exceptional.We tried a variety of items, including the Spring Blossom, Chocolate Croissant, Summer Delight, and Parisian Sandwich. Everything was absolutely exquisite. The service was top-notch, and the vibe of the cafe was both charming and relaxing. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a little taste of France!

I was shopping at TJMAXX  in El Camino Promenade, then on my way out I saw Versailles Cafe and pastries. I decided to go with my family to have some French pastries. I was very impressed with the beauty of the place and the qualities of the pastries and the desserts they have. We ordered many pastries and desserts to try there and took some to our hotel, we got;-Oranais Apricot Croissant - Chocolate Eclair - Raspberry Eclair - Vanilla Eclair- Royal- Spring Blossom - Coconut Macarons Everything was exquisite. The service was top notch. The vibe was charming and relaxing. We hadn't had the chance to try their sandwiches in the first visit.We stopped again for two consecutive days to try their sandwiches and more pastries.For the next visits, we ordered for lunch; -Parisian sandwich with salad-Veggie sandwich with fries -Croque Monsieur with salad-Vanilla eclair -2 iced raspberry truffle lattes Then, we also got some desserts to go:- Pear Tartlet - Pistachio Cloud- Chocolate Eclair - Chocolate Truffles Bites- Coconut Macarons The sandwiches were perfectly delicious, from bread to filling to seasoning to fresh salads. Everything was exquisite!The iced raspberry Truffle lattes were outstanding! I am fond of all the desserts and the pastries. Everything was Phenomenal!The sweet girls we dealt with went above and beyond to serve us. They were smiling and very attentive . We had quality time in our visits. I don't mind to drive to Encinitas to have a nice breakfast / lunch and enjoy the great food, excellent service and the welcoming vibes.

When you come in you have to wait to be seated. Also note that they have paper menu, but also they have a different menu for drinks on top of the wall which I didn't realize until afterwards. They also have a little mini menu on the counter, black chalkboard.. I mainly came here for the desserts, I tried the spring blossom and it was pretty good. I wasn't completely convinced with the darker jelly that's inside. I'm going to try the mango dessert next.

Stephanie and the staff at Versailles always go above & beyond from start to finish. This hidden gem is not only delicious but it's so much more...and you just have to experience it. Whatever is going on in the day, I always know I can come here, feel welcome, feel satiated, and leave feeling better than when I came in! So grateful

Here for a breakfast and pleasantly surprised!The pastries are amazing and the other food is delicious. Had one of the many omelets offered and it was big and tasted fresh. They are also willing to accommodate dietary restrictions. Great menu!Very French and nice ambience with the pink and black color and much attention to detail. It was a very pleasing atmosphere and particularly perfect for a meal during the week where it was quiet enough you could actually hold a conversation.The portions are generous so you get what you pay for and then some compared to many restaurants today.Service was great and you can dine in or take out. Great coffee, delicious pasties and wonderful service. The decor inside was adorable and the seating outside was nice a clean. We chose to sit outside because we brought our dog. Everything was just delightful. We will definitely come back here when we return to Encinitas.

I love their pastries. The almond croissant and Nutella croissant are my kid's favorites! The French Toast is absolutely divine and the breakfast sandwich is also delicious. If you need a yummy treat, this is a great place to stop!

Nice brunch on a Saturday late morning. Tried litchi rose almond milk latte, good! Crepe, a little dry, had to use syrup which I normally avoid. Great summer salad with watermelon strawberries pecans avocado cucumber, arugula- large in size, fresh delicious, highly recommend. Pistachios croissant was tasty, the best of what I ordered. My friend had what he described as "probably the best cinnamon roll I've ever had", plus a great mocha latte and a pick 3 breakfast sandwich: egg avocado spinach on croissant, good, tasty came with perfectly cooked rosemary potatoes. We had plenty left over to take away. Pleasant prompt service, no wait for a table nor to order.

The food was delicious, the best croissant I've had outside of France. The server was attentive but didn't rush me at all. I will definitely be back again.
