Gnocchi di Patate alla Bolognese. Very pillowy & delicate house-made Gnocchi. Bolognese wasn't MY favorite, too sweet.

My Wife and our entire family have been going to Veneto's pretty much since they first opened (approx 6 to 10 times a year). Spent a lot of money $$ there over the years.Tonight we got there and the way we were treated by the hostess was appalling, we actually couldn't believe just how rude she was. We sat down, looked at each other and said we didn't need to be treated like this and got up and left. It was so bad, will never go back. Sad, as we had a long history with this restaurant and liked the food.I don't care if it is staff or even the owner, use some decorum and respect when dealing with your customers (especially your loyal ones). We are there to have a wonderful experience for everyone (customers & staff) and happy to pay a good price $ to enjoy the evening. It isn't enjoyable, if you are dealing with someone who is both rude and crass, before you even get to your table. As mentioned, we won't go back. There are so many other restaurants in the valley that have incredible food and know how to provide a wonderful dining experience. Arrivederci !

We did not call to make a reservation so we got the small table right next to the bar that someone were sitting there. The food here is tasty and not too salty (I like it!). I got fettuccine with duck ragu sauce. The duck sauce is mild with a little bit of duck meat but it is delicious and goes well with the perfectly cooked fettuccine. We got tiramisu to go and this tiramisu is so delicious. I love the sauces on top. I enjoy this dessert and want to get some more.

Veneto Trattoria left me absolutely enchanted! Felix, the magician behind the bar, helped me in parting the perfect wine with my meal, and Robert's warm hospitality added an extra layer of delight to the entire experience. A big thanks to Raymone for sprinkling kindness while guiding me through the Italian pronunciation maze. The salmon? Utterly heavenly! And the Crema Cotta? An enchanting melt-in-the-mouth masterpiece! If you're yearning for an authentic Italian culinary escapade, Veneto Trattoria is an absolute must-visit - pure delight awaits!

Nice service however the kitchen was in the weeds and the entrees were not well executed. The bread service was amazing- light and crispy Italian bread slices plus fingers of focaccia served with a whipped garlic butter that was not too strong - just enough garlic and the butter was perfectly salted and well whipped. It went a bit down in quality after that. The sausages with braised savoy cabbage were nearly inedible they were so salty - and I have been accused of being heavy handed with salt! The veal parmigiana had a solid block of cheese on top - as if they forgot to put it under the salamander (broiler) before service. Not sure we will return.

Just moved to Phoenix and came in night before Fiesta Bowl and needed a place to have New Years Eve dinner. Was struggling to find a place for 7 that was good. Got lucky unfortunately no luck withthe refs at the Fiesta Bowl and scored a table here.Set Menu, pricey but what do you expect for New Years Eve in Scottsdale.Food and service was great and owner was fun and generous giving us some free Limoncello as GA beat OSU. We still should have stomped the and won 9 out of 10 times over them Frogs but alas next year.

I absolutely love this place - low key, good food and atmosphere. There aren't too many restaurants in the area that specialize in authentic Northern Italian cuisine, so this is the place to go. Service is friendly, and staff is very helpful in describing the menu items. This is not Italian American or Godfather food - it's the real deal. So if you feel like spending a nice lunch or dinner with Venetian ambiance, this is the place to go.My favorite appetizer is the Baccala Mantecato - a modern version of my Mom's baccala. And I couldn't resist the Fegato a la Veneziana. Amazing. I have also had the pork tenderloin and my husband has enjoyed the pasta dishes. Great wine selection as well. And the desserts???? I took mine home and it was heaven - the Veneto Cioccolato Valentino. You won't be disappointed!

We've been going to Veneto for years. Roberto and the staff are incredible.Food is authentic and reasonably priced. Service warm and inviting. They make you feel like you are a part of their family. We now live in Sun City West and either go for lunch, or make a hotel reservation nearby so that we may enjoy a special meal and actually "dine".This place is a gem. Relax and enjoy the experience. Try the grilled polenta and baccala appetizer, any pasta, meats - you can't go wrong and desserts are lovely. Enjoy!
