Love a fully vegan restaurant so close to home! Veggie Village is a welcomed addition! Not a huge fan of mock meat so we stuck with tofu dishes; Pad Thai and salt and pepper tofu. The Pad was awesome, lots of flavor, the S&P tofu was nice and spicy and delicious. I'd add even more spice next time, too! Cute place, nice decor, and the women running the cashier were very nice. We waited for our to-go order and enjoyed the ambiance. I may venture into some of the mock meat selections next time, after reading all the positive reviews of it on here. :)

My mom eats vegetarian two days of the week and was looking to try something different from her usual on her vegetarian days, and an acquaintance of hers recommended this place. So of course we had to check it out! After looking over their extensive vegetarian and vegan menu, we decided to order the roti prata, curry noodle soup, and the claypot chicken rice. The roti prata: 4/5 The roti itself was nice and soft with the right amount of flakiness for our preferences. The curry, however, could have been stronger in flavor. The curry noodle soup: 4/5The portion size is quite generous for the price, compared to other places. Loved the fried bean curd and the fried tofu in the soup. Again, wished the curry was stronger in flavor. The claypot chicken rice: 2/5 The portion size was generous for the price. The soy chicken was interesting, not too rubbery. The dish overall was overwhelmingly gingery, with maybe a bit too much soy sauce for our preferences.Overall, the service was fast, friendly, and the staff were very helpful with giving recommendations. The ambiance is casual and quite charming. The décor and the color scheme are on point for their theme. We will definitely be back to try out some other dishes!

Jackpot! I was at Desert Ridge for an event and was looking for a vegan spot on my way home to Chandler, and this spot popped up and I had to check it out. It's located in strip mall with plenty of parking, and it's got a pretty decent size dining room (booths, tables, and picnic tables in the middle as well). The restroom was super clean too. You place your order at the counter and then they bring it to you, and you can also order from a kiosk. I can rarely order anything at traditional Asian restaurants, so I was so excited it was a fully vegan spot, and I wanted to try everything on the menu! I got the cream cheese wantons, a side order of steamed veggies, and the sweet & sour chicken and a mango tea.I miss having cream cheese wantons, and these did NOT disappoint!! Crispy with the creamy center and they were flavorful (especially with the dipping sauce)! The veggies were steamed perfectly with a little crunch (I just like adding more veggies to meal knowing it's usually only a few in main dishes). Sweet & sour chicken was one of my favorite dishes to order at Chinese food spots, so I was elated to see a vegan version here. Even better, it was actually crispy like the real deal. Crisp batter, chewy center, and the sauce was just sweet enough. If this spot wasn't 50mins away from my house, I would be here all the time, but you better believe I will come back any time I'm in the area!!The staff was friendly and the place was clean, as were the restrooms. Highly recommend whether you're vegan or not!!!

This place is good! The food was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and had cute decor. I got the kung pao dish and it was yummy! Everything here is vegan, there were a couple sets of people who asked and seemed surprised while I was eating so I guess that's not common knowledge? Lol. Would definitely recommend!

Veggie Village is just a fabulous restaurant with vegan options. Located in a strip mall, with plenty of parking, it has very nice and clean exterior. Staff is friendly, and the chef will personally come and speak with customers about the food he made for them. He is truly vested into delivering tasty meals to his customers. Veggie potstickers were fantastic as appetizers. In fact I like them more than the traditional ones with pork. Miso soup is on the list of available appetizers, and it is fantastic! Garlic noodles and fried rice were equally good. Generous portions and friendly staff. Of particular note is the interior of the restaurant. Lots of custom made wooden decor as well as green color to go along with the veggie theme...

My wife and I dine out a lot, and in an effort to expand our culinary horizons, we went to Veggie Village. Now, I'm usually not a big fan of vegan food, but I am of Asian so I was willing to give it a try. Looking at their website, the food looked so appetizing vegan or not, and looks were not deceiving. Everything was delicious. The staff and owner were so helpful and friendly in helping us make our selections. I chose the #36 stir-fried flat noodles with soy shrimp, tofu, mushrooms, and bok choy in a creamy white sauce. My wife tried the #60 or Vietnamese Pho with soy shrimp instead of beef it was very fragrant and delicate with the purple mint and fresh basil she also chose to add the dumplings it was quite good. The owner was very nice and brought us a complimentary serving of their Rojak Malaysian fruit salad, which was very flavorful and refreshing the salad consisting of mango, pineapple, jicama, cucumber, peanut, and crunchy noodles in a sweet and tangy dressing. It was really a nice experience, and we will return and bring our sometimes vegan/vegetarian kids who will appreciate it as we did.

Best vegan Asian food I've had! We tried the kung fu noodles as well as the pad Thai. The "mock shrimp" was in the pad Thai. There was a mock ham in the kung fun noodles. Really inventive way to serve tofu in these two dishes. Good value for the money. The carnivores won't miss a thing!

Was planning to go to a neighboring restaurant when I found this one and decided to try it. There are lots of options and you can choose tofu or different kinds of plant based meat. The veggies were fresh and the sauce was tasty without being overly salty. Try the cucumber mint lemonade...it's delicious. The ambiance was great as was the service. There was a steady stream of take out orders, or you can eat there. Will definitely visit again next time I am in the area.
