Great small Saturday Farmers Market with exceptional, multicolored produce. This place is so hippie chic!! I felt a little out of place in my Seattle grey and dark denim, but there was a tie-dye stand at the Market, should you be inspired to go local.I love this small market. Enjoyable live music (and later, taped Irish folk music) played on the loud speaker. The produce was incredible: orange and yellow cucumbers, vine ripe tomatoes in all colors, enormous multicolored kale, beans galore. Everything farm fresh. Not a lot of baked goods or food vendors, but there is a great carmel vendor (Vashon's own King's Carmels) who was tasting and selling a bevy of flavors, including the mouth watering ginger carmel. (Of coarse, our daughter liked the straight ahead caramels, and who wouldn't?) We bought some bison steaks from a couple of ex-investment bankers now running the "Midlife Crisis Farm." (Gotta love it.) We cooked them up tonight, medium rare with melted butter on top. So good. The market reminded me of a smaller version of the organic Farmer's Market on Salt Spring Island in B.C. complete with craftspeople, organic farmers, food artisans and local island kids running around and hiding under tables.Anytime I am missing the Bay Area and Santa Cruz, or don't feel like driving all the way to B.C. and taking a ferry to Salt Spring, I will have to come here instead. Hippie fabulousness!

Lovely people, lovely stuff. I enjoyed my time there. The band was okay.I liked the henna tattoo my wife got. We also bought some pottery from a local artist which looks awesome.

I have stopped by this market many times on my bike rides. This weekend I went for a weekend trip with two of my best friends and a 2-year-old. This market has tons of character, it's small scale and it kind of defines granola and organic- but that's Vashon! Love all their lettuce options they had and I got some amazing cherries, Rainier. King's Caramel is superb (at $1/caramel, it better be- they're big)....and the wood work by various vendors is amazing- the 2-year-old loved the colorful tops at one of the vendors. Not impressed with the baked goods - all they really had was some gluten free type goods, not delicious...sorry.

Small market with decent selection of fruits and veggies. Everything is fresh, local, and delicious! There are a few food vendors, but we didn't get a chance to try them. There were also a few cookie booths, and some crafty booths. I really liked Cliff's beer, which is a new start-up brewery located on the island. Overall, you can get the basics: fruit veggies, meat, cookies, and beer.

Stumbled upon the farmers market and was impressed by the variety!! Lots of fresh veggies and fruits with live music and baked goods! It's definitely a small little market but mighty!! All of the vendors were kind and helpful and excited to be a part of the market. If I wasn't traveling I would have 100% have gotten some beautiful veggies to take home.

It's a very small farmers market with less an emphasis on the farm and more emphasis on New Agey goods and food trucks. Still, it's in a cute little downtown that has everything, from restaurants, to coffee, to upscale groceries, to art exhibits. Love that well-behaved dogs are welcome so our pups could stretch out too. Some standing tables near the live music and rocks you could sit on, but wish there was more seating. This is less of a place to acquire goods and more of a gathering.

The farmer's market was small. There were more artisanal arts and crafts than actual produce.

Great little farmer's market. It's not huge but they have a good mix of sellers (prepared food, meats, pastries, wood products, fresh veggies and more). The fact is has a permanent permanent stand speaks to a community commitment. They also have live music which is great.
