We can't say enough great things about Varuni! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the warm and animated presence of the staff. Our kids absolutely love visiting Varuni, especially since Marco, the manager, creates a fun and friendly experience for them. The kids were given a piece of dough and Marco took the time to show them how to create mini pizzas, turning our dining experience into an unforgettable adventure. But the highlight of Varuni Napoli is, of course, the pizza, especially the Margherita and Bastardo! The best we've had in the city. Varuni Napoli has set the bar high for what a true pizza experience should be.

I was craving Neapolitan style pizza so I hopped on UberEats as well as consulted Yelp, and started looking for a place. Immediately, I was drawn to a pizza that ordinarily may not have caught my eye, in comparison to others I usually am drawn to like a Margherita or something with mushrooms and/or truffle. It sounded delicious though, and the reviews were promising. I ordered the Bastardo--Mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes, pepperoni, Nduja (spicy spreadable pork sausage in ragu sauce), Pecorino romano, and basil. For my appetizer, I went with the Arugula Salad--Wild arugula, shaved Pecorino, lemon infused olive oil from Sorrento and fresh lemon juice. For an almost $30 pizza, the portion is very small. It seems like they cut small slices to try to disguise the fact that you're not getting much product. Regardless, it tasted delicious. While not very spicy, it was flavorful and satisfying. I warmed it up in my air fryer, which maintained the integrity of the pizza! Onto the Arugula salad--it is $12. This makes sense with Varuni Napoli's price range, but when you think about the fact that you're essentially just getting a bunch of arugula with shaved cheese, a lemon wedge, and lemon infused olive oil, it seems pricier than what it's worth. To be fair, I must also take into account that I ordered takeout. If I had dined in with an ambiance and service to enjoy, I'm sure I would've seen the price as fair enough. With that said, I would love to try more of Varuni's dishes! Most likely, I will choose to dine in instead to make the cost more worth it. I look forward to bringing my boyfriend with me and sharing wine and several pizzas!

Visited as a family to try a new pizza place in Atlanta. Kids got OVERPRICED calzonesWe had an OVERPRICED pizzaThe calzones were not good! ... we were told "no substitutions, we could omit items and not add items - sounds premade, taste pre-made.The pizza, ordered the white pizza, was flavorless. You would expect a buttery garlic base for traditional white pizza ... nope! The pizza had no flavor.Overall, will not return. Feel we wasted $60 on tasteless food and a rude staff. The pizza "freshly cooked" was put in 7 minutes ... seemed reheated. The calzone had toppings on top? ... definitely not traditional or tasty. The location is nice, but the staff a d overpriced food will keep us awayStay Away. !!!!!

We had another great meal here. This time we had the Paku and a margarita add cherry tomato, carmelized onion and mushroom. We had tiramisu (of course) and a pistachio cake thingy with a bottle of Vicus Irpinia "Falanghina"

In my quest for pizza in Atlanta, this was my next stop. I tried the oro bianco, mozzarella sticks, and the pistachio cheesecake. Everything was great but not extraordinary. As a cheesecake hater, theirs did not have a lot of the traditional cheesecake texture/taste which I appreciated. I'll have to try a red pie the next time.

Still after almost 10 years Varuni is hands down our favorite pizza in Atlanta...both Midtown and KSM locations. Our visit this weekend was to the original Midtown location and it was tops. Wasn't too crowded when we got there but it was pretty packed when we departed. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and it arrived hanging over the plate and chock full of perfectly cooked cup pepperonis. One would think they were in Naples when eating this pie. Nothing like US pizzas. Totally fresh and made to order and cooked in a wood oven. It had the great char around the edges. We scarfed it up and left happyService as always was great. Highly recommend.

One of the best pizzas I've had outside NYC! I always love thin crust and tend to opt for cheese or margherita, but I heard wonderful reviews about the Bastardo here. It didn't disappoint with the salty cupped pepperoni and the star was the unique Nduja sauce with its spicy pork-y flavor. Because of all the toppings and how thin the dough is (I could see my whole hand through the pizza!), this pizza was more flimsy than I expected but I wouldn't sacrifice anything to change that one aspect. There's also a side area with a lot of extras like pickled red chiles, spicy oil, olive oil, fresh garlic, and fresh parm). The service and ambience were also great, would be an awesome place to have a large get together or an intimate cozy dinner. Can't wait to come back soon!

Not your normal slice of pizza The pies here are cooked quickly and made with the freshest of ingredients. Their menu consists of a side of pizza pies that are with red sauce and a side of pies with white sauce. Truffles, fresh cheeses, you name it, if it's high quality they have it. Over the years they have had special pasta nights that were amazing. You'll find a full bar, cannolis and coffee! They have an area in the back they can dedicate for a party - which I did one year for my birthday. Pizza and wine - say no more! We had a wonderful experience. You can park in the parking lot connected to the massage place and there is an entrance around back as well, you don't have to walk to Monroe to get in. They have a walk up window on Monroe if you want to grab and go. You place your order at the front register and they bring your order to you. Water is available at wash table and they have seating at the bar as well. On the side they have Parmesan, red pepper flakes and one other condiment I can't remember, but always fresh and refilled. Forever Favorite of mine!

The service was impeccable and we got our food fast. The pizza was delicious, nice thin crust but baked to perfection! The arugula salad went so well with the white pizza! I would go there every month if I lived closer! What a treat!!!!!!
