Variety Donuts

Very good donuts. I was in town for work and brought Variety donuts into the office twice. Donuts were always fresh and super delicious. Average price for a dozen donuts. They accept cash or card. I guess it depends on the time of day, but no need to worry about parking early in the morning.

Good donuts! Everything was fresh and tasted great! I really enjoyed the light swirl circle ones in my picture! They are airy and lightly glazed. I also like the little donuts with the cream inside!They also have a selection of smoothies with boba

Yeowza.The woman behind the counter was so aggressively hostile during a normal transaction for DONUTS(!), I had to check Yelp to see if this was a one-off. Hahaha nope: just a wholesale see you next Tuesday, seething out in the wild. Don't know how someone can mess up the basic business model for donuts. Pretty low threshold for start-up, with profit normally a predictably quick result. But if you...1. Put your business in a derelict strip mall,2. Don't have a drive-thru (and your established betters DO),3. AND you have super shitty customer service to boot?Yeah. You might be a garbage donut place. Pao's and Original House of Donuts (both with drive-throughs and a conspicuous lack of asshole servers) are each a quick drive away. Treat yo' self.

I've passed this establishment numerous times but never thought to go until recently when my husband wanted donuts. We didn't want to drive to 6th Ave so this place was our next option. The donuts weren't too bad tasting, hence the 4 star. I like that their donuts aren't dense like other donut spots. The fritter was my favorite with the cream puff coming close to second place. I'd probably return if I were in the area. Donuts are always good snacks to have.

Size and Value 5/5.Good hefty traditional Apple Fritter with a nice crisp outside, and a well blended inside on the flavor profile and dough. Great value, hours and service. Long time returning customer, all their donuts are great here!

The donuts are good but the lady behind the counter is rude it seems like she doesn't like her job at all, she doesn't even greet her customers when they come in. She rang me up and gave me the total for the donuts but I had to add some hot beverages for my husband and my kids but she keep sighing as she was adding it and she wanted to charge $3 each for a small cup of hot choco and it's clearly stating on her menu list that a small cup are $2. I wanted to say something to her but I didn't wanna embarrass her infront of other customers. Too bad because we like coming here.

I live in Tacoma, and didn't know about this place until someone brought donuts to work! The box is generic, so I had to ask around to find out where they were from. These might literally be the best donuts I've ever had! Every single one (they bring in donuts frequently) is light and perfectly glazed or flavored (apple fritters have that perfect softness and crunch!)Support this small business, you won't be disappointed!

Variety Donuts satisfied my recent craving for light and fluffy donuts~!!! (Sorry @ dense donuts...)When I arrived, the lady apologized and told me that I would have to wait a little before I could start picking out my donuts because she and, I believe, her husband were flipping freshly made donuts. I didn't mind because it was still early in the morning, and the overall atmosphere at the donut shop felt cozy because other donut enthusiasts were bonding with their families and friends while eating donuts.When I was able to choose my donuts, I had a hard time choosing the last few for the mixed dozen, so I asked the lady if she could choose the rest, and thank goodness I did because they were delicious~!!!I also asked the lady if the donut shop accepts Apple Pay, and she said yes, so for those like me who prefer to use Apple Pay as a payment option, you should be able to do so at Variety Donuts.

I believe there was a donut shop here previously but the ownership changed. I feel like it may have been an improvement as Steve and I were very highly impressed with the half dozen of donuts that we ordered. We also got a cinnamon roll that was separate from the half dozen. All the donuts we got were great as well as the cinnamon roll! The blueberry, the chocolate frosted, and the coconut donuts I fondly remember. Definitely going back but perhaps next time it will be a full dozen than a half of one... not that I need a further excuse to get more donuts! Very good experience!
