Hello! As a person who comes to this cafe almost everyday I can say that they are amazing ! I come here with the baby that I take care of and he loves all the toys. It's always calm and peaceful environment. There are always seats and the workers are amazing. They are so friendly and welcoming. My daily order is latte but I also tried other things as well. Their grilled cheese is my #1. Their bowls are very refreshing in a hot summer day. As a conclusion, I can say that I come here cuz I feel at home .

Yesterday I skipped breakfast and for lunch I was craving a green smoothie drink and had just remembered Val's Coffee Corner had a great looking Green Bowl that I've been wanting to try. So instead of a drink I stopped Val's and grabbed their amazing Green Bowl of kale, spinach, mango, pineapples & bananas blended with almond milk and topped with fresh bananas, blueberries, avocado, goji berries, pecans, chia seeds & honey. From the moment this vibrant Green Bowl was set before me, I knew I was in for something special. Wow! The blended ingredients in were the perfect base for the toppings that truly elevated this bowl into a symphony of flavors and textures. It was the perfect brain food that I was needing. By the time I reached the bottom, I honestly felt a genuine sense of happiness--a mood boost that lasted long after the last spoonful was gone. If you're looking for the perfect blend of health, taste, and happiness, this bowl is it.

Val's coffee corner is a great stop in OB. The food and coffee were delicious, the staff was so friendly and lots of dogs hanging out! We forgot part of our order and they walked it out to us before we left. Highly recommend picking up food here and heading to the beach!

Stopped by and got a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich. Our food was fine, nothing especially tasty but definitely not bad. If I were to come back, I'd stick with smoothies/smoothie bowls. Good vibes!

Came here for an iced coffee which was nice and strong. I enjoyed the flavor. I would have wanted to try more from their menu such as a smoothie, açaí bowls, bagel, or empanadas - next time!This is a spot good for grabbing and going, while they do have a few tables with chairs to sit and enjoy your food or beverage there. Its a cute little shack where the people are friendly.

Val's easily serves the best açaí in San Diego! They are currently located next to Kilowatt Brewery in OB (on Cable near Newport).Your can order their bowls in three size options 12, 16 and 20 ounces. Pictured here is a 16oz bowl. The original açaí bowl comes with blueberries, strawberries, bananas, toasted coconut, and chia seeds. It's perfection! I also tried a Vietnamese iced coffee. Strong, sweet, and delicious! The staff at Val's are also super helpful and friendly. Next time you're in Ocean Beach, do yourself a favor and support Val's!

I can't believe I haven't been coming here my entire stay. Next time I come to town I'll be here Everytime.Good strong coffee. My quiche was toaster oven heated, not microwaved. Woo!This place is a winner.

The food was great, the owner was very friendly. They have different açaí bowls and I definitely want to go back to try the other ones. The prestígio cake was delicious.
