Had a pastry and cold brew from here. Went with the vegan berry compote croissant and it was delicious. The service was fast and kind. I'd have loved to sit down and enjoy the vibes but they had a painting class taking place which was very neat. Apparently they do it on weekends. It just gives me a reason to come back!

Great vibe, good service, lots of tables to sit and study at. I ordered a cold brew topped with almond cold foam, and it was okay. The cold brew was very bitter and acidic, more than a cold brew typically would be, so I didn't enjoy it very much. I would come back here for the study space but not so much the coffee (cold brew specifically...not sure about other menu items)

Valley Coffee Company IMO is the best coffee shop downtown! Prime real estate on Portland and walking distance to everything, spacious storefront with patio, bold and tasty beans, creative and fun seasonal flavors and drink options, painting classes on weekend evenings (!!!), and most importantly of all - AMAZING, patient, generous, understanding, smiling staff. One tip I learned is that you can get foam with any flavor on top of any drink, even tea, etc :) Most memorable/meaningful experience: one time I forgot to order my latte with non-dairy and went to the counter to re-order and pay for the new drink as it was my mistake and the staff remade it for me at no charge (crying emoji). The service here is undeniably the best and will keep me coming back as long as I'm in Phx!

Good, strong coffee without a line out the door. SIGN ME UP. Great looking pastries. Various beverage offerings. Nice cold case with turmeric+ginger shots and other items. They have beer and wine too (who knew?!). I didn't notice that my first visit. Easy parking garage nearby, free for visiting retailers. In a cute neighborhood that is Uber dog friendly. If you're a weirdo like me and enjoy peeping all the pups - this is your coffee shop.

VCC is definitely off the beaten path and probably only known to locals. We circled a couple of times to find this gem. It was well worth it. Close to the Japanese friendship garden, the menu is varied from coffee drinks to baked goods to gelato. It was a warm day and we were looking for a place to relax before dinner. Service was friendly and welcoming. We ordered a iced americano, matcha latte with oatmilk, honey lavender latte, and chocolate cookie. The lattes were both yummy and refreshing and the cookie was thick and soft (more like bread) perfect for sharing. We snagged the 4 comfy leather swivel chairs in the corner and had a relaxing time.

Friends had recommended this place for some good local coffee. Service was efficient. Cute local place with lots of seating. Got a coffee late which tasted noticeably burnt unfortunately. The friends that I brought with me also thought the drinks were pretty standard; nothing that really stood out for the cost that you paid. Might try again, might stick with other coffee joints.

This is a nice lil coffee shop along W Portland Street! This shop is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, and you can find parking either along the street or in the first floor of the parking garage right next to it (spots will be marked with "visitor"). The shop has plenty of seating in the interior and exterior, and they offer a variety of drinks, seasonal options, and pastries. All the baristas + bakers are super friendly, and are happy to answer any questions about the menu. I got the latte with almond milk and a cookie -- I liked my drink and it wasn't too sweet, though the cookie was my favorite part! It was fresh, soft, and chewy. Overall, I like coming back here for the occasional pastries and coffee!

Shoutout to my favorite local coffee shop! Lavender matcha and the lavender latte are my favs! My husband loves the creamsicle matcha. They also sell beer. Service is consistently friendly and quick. Great spot to do homework/ work or to catch up with a friend. Relaxed, modern environment with fun artwork on the walls. 10/10 recommend.

Located downtown Phoenix, you will find a quiet coffee shop filled with beautiful Arizona art and delicious coffee. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms and plenty of seating. Street parking and garage parking available. I got the caramel macchiato-not too sweet, coffee flavor is balanced. The cinnamon croissant is a must!

the sorbet here is sooo amazingly smooth super creamy and the portion of this is HUGE. A big cup full of this for less than $5 on such a hot day came in clutch and was definitely worth the price. the man taking my order was generous enough to fill up my hydro with ice and water so the service here was very kind and thoughtful. there was a good amount of seating at 3pm, not too busy so i had the bar-seat window view all to myself.
