Such a good place for a california burrito. It also has good pricing and comes with sauce on the side. I can't believe something so simple can taste this good. No seating or bathroom available at location. So i took it to the beach!

Went here for some late night mexican. I love that they are 24hrs. We heard via word of mouth to avoid this place but honestly their prices beat most of the other local mexican places and the food was pretty standard. It got the job done and while it wasn't anything fancy it was solid quality for the price. We ordered a shredded chicken rice bowl, carnitas rice bowl, and some rolled tacos. All of them were pretty good not too flavorful but good for a late night bite. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future late night trips.

Valerie's Taco Shop is my favorite place to get Mexican food! It is open 24 hour and I have likely had Valerie's during every hour of the day. I would often get Valerie's after high school since it was close by. My favorite is their cali burrito with red and green sauce and a Sunkist. The quality of food is amazing and their burritos are filling and delicious! The price is also extremely reasonable. I have been so many times that their friendly staff always recognize me. This is the best place in San Diego to get Mexican food! Highly recommend!

I'm in SD for work. My schedule fluctuates. This place is quick and sells a lot. Meaning faster turnover in food. I enjoy it. This is my late night go to. The guys will chit chat and are welcoming.

FAVORITE burrito spot in the area, they have the least greasiest food compared to all the other taco shops, and they have so many options with cheap prices. Way better than any of the "bertos" in my opinion.

I've lived near Valeries for four years and just wanted to hop on here and give some praise. Owner/staff is super nice and the food always hits the spot. I usually get the conga burrito and a taco but I've gotten almost everything; the soft/crispy/rolled tacos, rice bowls, tortas, plates are all great!
