Decent coffee . Wanted caramel flavor but they were out of caramel. Loved the coconut Macaroon.

We got the coffee cake (couldn't taste the coffee in it), Caramel Latte (more milk than to my liking) and a Peppermint Latte (good). Small cozy place in Kirkland, good for a chit chat /coffee date.. follow it by walking to the Juanita Beach Park..good winter date setting! We were served quickly and could find a space to sit as well (considering it was a weekend)

Great place to grab a coffee/tea or some food! Good spot to sit and work on your laptop too. I love that this coffee shop opens early. I believe they open at 6:30am M-F. Their pistachio croissant is soooo good! I've never tasted anything like it. If you're adventurous and wanting to try something special, you have to give it a try. I promise you it's worth it.I'm a fan of London fog tea and they do it really well. During the holiday, they make mulled wine (haven't tried but seen this on the menu).Service can sometimes be a little slow if it's busy but that's expected.

Really great coffee! I came during fall and tried their seasonal pumpkin pie latte, which is made with pumpkin puree and homemade syrups. It was very rich and tasted like pumpkin pie filling in the best way. The staff was friendly and greeted me when I arrived. The place was very busy, which made finding a seat a bit difficult, but I was able to find a chair after a couple minutes of waiting. The price was pretty expensive, around $9 for a coffee after a tip and adding oat milk, but they do make their syrups homemade and the coffee quality is great. But still an expensive latte. Overall a really great and cozy place to get some work done and have a unique, seasonal coffee drink.

Went for the famous pumpkin pie latte! It's the season! This place had lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Staff was friendly. We wanted to drink our coffee at the tables and thought we'd get proper drink ware, but instead we got paper cups. It was fine because then we were able to leave with our drinks. There's plenty of parking for 2 hours free of charge. I'll be back to try some of the other seasonal drinks they offer.

Man, I really like this place, but they've got to work something out with the building across the street, Parking around here is tight, and I got a $60 parking ticket for being parked for what I would guess was about 2 1/2 minutes. I'm certainly not going to pay for an hour of parking every time I want to get coffee on my way to work. Seems like they should have something to the tune of 10 minutes free parking if they care at all about their neighborhood business staying in business.

Of all the curiosities one might stumble upon in the Kirkland area, this cute café and coffee shop is a refreshing oasis. Tucked underneath one of the apartment complexes in Juanita Village, it's unpretentious and mixed modern-industrial exterior, hides a charming ragtag team of endearing Baristas that has survived the test of time and Covid-19. The space inside the coffee shop is both warm and comforting, with soft light hugging its patrons from all angles, and furniture well loved from many years of use. The music selection is inoffensive and varied ranging from indie/alt, pop and lo-fi beats, curating a family-friendly vibe emblematic of the phrase "café and chill."The food, drinks and baked goods are typically sourced locally, most notably Crafted Confection, which continues to be a faithful companion of UCL's. The display case is filled with treats ranging from items as small as chocolate truffles to sizable items such as slices of quiche! But what is most impressive is their selection of rotating kombucha, beer, and wine all of which can even be enjoyed outside--staying within their little patio of course, so no wandering off!UCL maintains a core list of coffee staples that rotates in creative seasonal drinks (you're darn tootin' I'm talking about you Pumpkin Pie Latte). On our most recent venture through Kirkland I decided on their summer seasonal drink, an iced lavender latte, which tasted as the name implies without the syrup being cloying. The flavor of the espresso (they use Counter Culture "Big Trouble" I believe), definitely shined through and married well with the milk, creating a pleasant chestnut brown color (do not discount the important science of coffee-milk color variation).Ultimately I love this coffee shop, and have loved it ever since I first stumbled upon it back in 2015. UCL's ability to adapt to situations and evolve as a business, while keeping its soul by curating a team that both loves coffee and values its community has helped it stay relevant. Small business like this feel rarer every day and I am grateful to know that this one isn't going anywhere time soon.

Delicious cappuccino breve and Cortados, wouldn't opt for the London fogs here. Quick services, extremely dog friendly

Lovely little coffee shop with amazing seasonal specials (and even alcohol-infused drinks!), ample indoor and outdoor seating, free parking, and free wifi. Easy in-person or mobile ordering through the app "Joe". They even have discounts for first-time mobile orderers (check their website!) I tried their seasonal iced peppermint truffle mocha (oat milk substitute +$0.75). It was so delicious that I demolished it before taking a picture! With chocolate truffle pieces and peppermint chunks, it was the perfect holiday treat. They even have a hot version and a blended version. The other holiday drinks like the eggnog and salted maple also looked amazing, but I can't have that much caffeine in a day! With free wifi, self-serve water, and outlets, I sat and worked on my laptop in the cafe happily for hours. There are clean, gendered restrooms down the hall outside of the coffee shop. The staff were very friendly and mobile order pickup is very easy. Highly recommend checking this place out if you need some caffeine while in Kirkland!
