Uptown Deli

We were on our way to the beach and looking for a deli. This came up, had great reviews so went. Never would've gone here had we not read all of the positive reviews first. It's nothing to look at, it was pretty packed w/boxes but the subs were great!

Got some good things from this deli. It happens to be located in the Uptown neighborhood obviously. Uptown Deli is more than just a typical corner store. Also has made to order food. The prices aren't that great compared to big grocery stores, but they're not crazy though. A hidden gem if you want to call it. It's pretty basic looking from the outside. The inside also isn't that much to talk about because it looks pretty typical. Back of it is where the difference is at. There's a sandwich counter that has hot dogs, subs, and other stuff. Came in with someone who got a hot dog. They said it was good. I got a bottle of Stoopid Soda which is made with THC, and some pretty cheap hummus. The rest of the store has basic items. Have to say it's pretty good. It's better than a typical convenience store full of overpriced basics and junk. They can make meaty sandwiches or you can get salads.

I went here because I saw a video posted online. It's a great neighborhood corner store and deli. They had plenty of items and fresh meats and veggies. The store is actually nicely sized to carry even household items. But, I came here for the sandwiches. I ordered a foot long Aragon with extra meat and this sandwich didn't disappoint. The deli guy was super chill and he asked if I wanted it toasted. The Aragon is Greenridge roast beef, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo. All that was missing was hot peppers. That's all on me. The bread was nice and fluffy. It held together all the goodness and it didn't push all the ingredients out after a bite. This sandwich put the chain sandwiches to shame. I have to try the rest of the sandwiches.

Surprisingly stocked with what you're looking for. Very friendly and professional. Great freshly made baked desserts and non baked desserts

After a show at the Aragon theater uptown it was late and I was starving. Walked 2 blocks to the uptown deli to get something to eat. I got a giant freshly made Ruben sandwich ,bag of chips and a can of soda for about 15$. The employees were friendly and the store was clean. Give them a chance

While visiting my Niece in Chicago, we stopped into the Uptown Deli. I was immediately impressed with how clean the store was and how well supplied the shelves were. She was able to grab a few Vegan items as I ordered my Italian Beef Sammy. The gentleman that was making my sandwich so very kind and attentive to everyone that walked up the deli counter. I was trying to find a bag of regular kettle chips. I only saw flavored ones. The deli gentleman found me a bag and brought it up the the register as I was checking out. When we got back to my Nieces apartment I sat down to enjoy my lunch. WOW, simply delicious! The sub bread was soft but hearty enough to hold my Sammy together. The au jus was so very flavorful. Tons of lean and tender beef. The giardiniera was very tasty and made my lips tingle. If you are in the area, stop by, you will not happy you did .

Less than $15 for a foot long sub sandwich, bag of chips, can of soda, and half serving of soup. Get out of here! The guys working the shop are super cool and the location is great. It was my first time here, but it won't be my last. Menu is great and quality ingredients.

My go to spot for the past two years! Has about everything you could ever need + delicious sandwiches and now hot dogs! Expect to leave with a smile because the staff is always friendly and makes you feel at home. Uptown deli is hands down one of the best spots in Chicago.

Such a great little corner deli. The food is really good and great value. Sandwiches are excellent size and the soups especially cheddar broccoli is on point!

Best deli sandwiches ever! And they have soup! I'm so lucky that this little gem is in the neighborhood. The staff are super friendly!
