I just want to start by saying that Unos Tacos is wonderful. If you're looking for some good tasting tacos and horchata this is the place to go. The interior is always clean which is nice. Sometimes it can be packed though, it just just depends on when you go in. The employees are always kind when you order. Their horchata is freshly scooped into your cup and always tastes wonderful.I believe their tacos are made to order, sothey are always fresh. So if you are deciding to take your food home, or eat it in restaurant it will always taste amazing. Also their free topping bar is wonderful. They have items such as: cucumbers, warm caramelized onions, cabbage, salsas, onion and cilantro to name a few. I love stocking up on some of the topics before I go home and eat. Overall I return to Unos often and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for some good tasting tacos.

Every time I am in Mesa I make it a point to stop in as the tacos are amazing. Unfortunately I will no longer be coming here as the service stinks. Brought my mom in as I always do and shared a drink as we always do to be charged 3.50 for a extra cup!!! I have never been charged here and that is so taking advantage of the customer. My tostada shell was burnt but that wasn't the concern.I approached the cashier who was different then the person who charged me and what a rude person. She had zero customer service skills and again a new experience for me as usually the employees are friendly. The first cashier was nice but he could have informed me that there was a charge. They just lost a customer over 3.50.

We come to this place often. It's in one of the parking lot strips in the Mesa Grand shopping center with Walmart. There isn't a whole lot to the decor except a big mural on the wall when you walk in. There's some booths and tables with chairs. Some of the tables cannot be moved so it's a little harder to have a big group. Service is very fast so this is a great place for lunch. We had a group lunch here with the variety of food being ordered. The Birria consomme looked delicious with a lot of noodles and meat. I was told it was as good as it looked. The rest of us got and assortment of the queso tacos, regular tacos on both corn tortilla and flour tortilla, and a vampiro. Everyone liked what they had. I really liked the carne asada and the different salsas on the bar.

Very delicious, casual spot that is a hidden gem to enjoy some AMAZING Birria! Food is ordered at the counter and brought to your table, but most orders seem to be pick-up or delivered by food delivery service. The establishment is clean and well maintained, staff is friendly, in keeping with authenticity a beautiful salsa bar is available for all the right garnishes to take your dish to the next level!

My husband and I came to Unos Tacos Y Birria with a group of friends and really enjoyed our experience here. My husband knew the food would be good when we parked and could smell fresh tortillas. The restaurant was nicely decorated and had great Mexican music playing. There were plenty of seating options that accommodate various party sizes. We ordered at the counter and did not have to wait too long to place our order. We did not wait too long to get our order. We ordered 1 birria caramelo, 1 taco de cabeza, birria combo, and birria burrito. Everything was delicious. I enjoyed the taco de cabeza and birria combo the most. The cabeza meat was juicy and flavorful. The taco came with cilantro and onion, but there was an extensive salsa bar available with many sauce and vegetable options. There's even grilled onions and jalapeños. I really enjoyed the spicy salsa and salsa de guacamole. The birria combo came with consomé that was delicious to dip your tacos into. The burrito and caramelo did not come with consomé, so we added some to it from our combo. It enhanced both dishes a lot. We love Mexican food and thought the quality was top notch. When we are in Mesa and craving Mexican, we will definitely come back here!

Heard great things about this place and finally got to try it!It was busy on a Saturday morning. You order at the counter and then they will bring you the food. There is a salsa and toppings bar. I love when they do this so that you can add as much toppings as you would like. The birria burrito was very delicious! With the salsa and toppings, it was even better! Love the birria here!Quesotaco Combo was my favorite!! You should definitely try this! The price was reasonable, but did wish the burrito was bigger. Staff were very friendly and lots indoor seating available. I would definitely recommend this place if you are wanting some good Mexican food especially if you are in the mood for Birria!

One of the best taco joints I've been to! The good:-fast preparations -fully loaded self service bar comes with all sorts of sauces, lime, cilantro ,grilled onions, grilled peppers, shredded cabbage, radish, pickled onions, and cucumbers. This could justify the prices-queso taco with Birria sauce was particularly delicious! The bad:-Not much, but I did feel like the portions were fairly small for the price you're paying for. -I wish they used less oil, as it's fully drenched

Seeking a new culinary adventure, my wife and I decided to explore a local Mexican eatery, conveniently situated near the Goodwill we were visiting. Intrigued by their menu, we opted for a carne asada burrito and a Pastor Mulita.Firstly, it's worth noting the absence of tripa or lengua options on the menu, a slight disappointment for enthusiasts of traditional Mexican fare. However, the cleanliness of the kitchen and the helpfulness of the staff at the front counter were commendable. The Pastor Mulita, while enjoyable, had its drawbacks. Its tendency to fall apart easily detracted from the overall experience, and I likely wouldn't order it again. The carne asada burrito, as per my wife's assessment, was average - lacking complexity and depth in flavor. While it wasn't the worst, it struggled to stand out in a region renowned for its exceptional Mexican cuisine. The salsa bar was a highlight, boasting a variety of condiments. However, the salsas themselves were just satisfactory, neither exceptional nor disappointing. In summary, this eatery offers a decent dining experience, especially if you find yourself in the area with a craving for Mexican food. However, it doesn't quite rise to the culinary heights one might expect in the Mesa area, known for its rich array of Mexican gastronomy.

Honestly the birria combo is the only thing I've gotten here. Everything looks so good but this is my go to. Clean restaurant, quick with orders and staff is friendly. Located in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking.
