Bought the egusi with pounded yam. I asked for it to not be spicy because it was fir the wife and kids. They said no problem. Have a seat we cook it fresh for you. Got it home and it was same spice level as the others. If you're like me and like spicy it's great.

I usually get Oha soup and coconut rice. They are delicious. I'm not a big fan of the ambience though.

Wowwwww wowww woww! All I need to say to sum the food here! The food is delicious omg I wish I like to Jack but I do not live in Houston.I went with my mother and sister, we arrived and were kindly welcomed. The restroom was not filled with people and they provided hand soap for washing as well. I ordered egusi soup with pounded yam and my sister & mother ordered the edikaikong soup. Our food took 10-15 minutes to arrive which was pretty good! Our server was so patient and kind as well. When I rated that egusi soup???? My heart melted. They really cool the soho with all their heart. They include love I'm telling you lol. The portion of soup to pounded yam was perfect as well, infant so much that I had to take the rest to go. I also tasted my mothers edikaikong soup and it was SO DELICIOUS!! So of course when I do come back I will be ordering that soup. But then again the egusi was just so amazing, it was really authentic tasting. If you're looking for a naija restaurant in Houston just come here. I rate this place 10/10. I will definitely be back!

A friend referred me here for great tasting soup,he was right!I wanted local bitter leave soup and didn't want to make it at home! The soup tasted really good but the beef was ridiculously tough so I couldn't eat it.Good thing I reserved the beef for last,So I was pretty much done when I realized.Im sure they can do better!Maybe I'll go back one day soon.PS:I should have done this review looong ago.

I was in houston during restaurant week and tried out different spots but none got like this one! The flavor of the spices was so on point!!!! Came here because I was craving goat stew and jollof rice. It's a mom and pops place and very laid back so you know it's gonna be good! Came with my sister and we got seated right away. My sister ordered the goat stew and I did the chicken stew with plantain and veggie. Order came out pretty fast and the flavors were so delish, it made me do a little shoulder dance!!!!Very authentic, very delicious!! I will for sure be coming back! Oh and very affordable with generous portions! I think our total was like $30!! We took several boxes to go!

Best African food I've had in a very long time. The place is open with lots of space for a large gathering. The service was great and quick and the food was simply amazing. I know traditionally, African food is very spicy. This was perfect for my pallet. Not too spicy but yet all the nice flavoring of African cuisine. I will return and I do recommend this place.

Attention Nigerians and west African people. It's just a bunch of Messican men cooking the food. It's not authentic Nigerian food anymore. Just not very good.
