Update: They now sell teriyaki! It includes vegetarian options........Our house calls this place "our second pantry". In addition to the usual convenience store items, there's a wide assortment of odd ones. Native American feather wall hangings! Hoodies, skull caps, and XXL t-shirts with gangsta-esque styles! Bike locks for $1! A variety of meat that's been roasting on the twirly things for god knows how long. Mexican food. A surprisingly reasonable assortment of inexpensive and decent wines. There's also typically a bunch of people hanging out front who can sell you things that can't be found legally....

Pretty solid for the price. I wouldn't go here expecting anything fancy, I also would only recommend it as a grab and go situation. I've gotten both the chicken and beef teriyaki plate and it was yummy.

Love this place. Better selection than most places - they clearly care about carrying the right/good stuff and it's cheap! They have a better selection of mexican spices than most big chain groceries, for instance. The thing I LOVE is their beer selection. Cheapest Dale's Pale Ale from Oskar Blues in Colorado I've seen. It's a balanced, mean, overproof pale ale that half the breweries out there would classify an IPA. It's delicious and it's $9.19 there (tall boy 24 oz cans too!). Old Chub, a bunch of New Belgium, etc. They have your volume lagers too, and chips & salsa. If they only carried my favorite chips, I wouldn't have any reason to visit anywhere else for convenience stuff. Nice staff too - seems like a family business. The lady behind the counter talked with me a bit today and was so friendly and interested in what I wanted to see in the store I felt compelled to hop on here and review a bodega...I'd also say that Kim's review from 2008 isn't representative of a contemporary experience here. There are still some weird things, but it's more along the lines of cheap as 12/Seahawks stuff...

Not only does the Union Market do a great job of utilizing space, but they carry just about anything you can imagine needing quickly, and especially after maybe a night at the Neighbor Lady or Chuck's up and down the street from here. UM has TOFU, you guys. I needed it really badly for a vegan breakfast scramble I was hoping to make and of course Grocery Outlet was not the place to find tofu. In comes UM to save my brunch! From seasonings to frozen convenience food and even a little produce, this place definitely makes a great neighborhood stop.Now-- for the food. HUGE portions, cute older ladies serving, and great prices. They pack it all up really nicely and even have a seating area inside if you choose to stay to dine. I've had the pot stickers, egg rolls, spicy chicken, yakisoba, and teriyaki. All very good and super flavorful.

*if you like the food at this place please add a review at Union Teriyaki and Burgers. I just added it*I stopped by recently as I live nearby and decided to brave the food. I was silly to think it would be "brave". Fresh veggies, great noodles, yummy sauce? I have a new favorite take out place.

I live nearby and love this little shop. They have everything you could need. I've stopped by and grabbed random things like electrical tape, socks, ponchos,ect.. I'm currently waiting for keys to be copied. The food is really delicious as well, the beef teriyaki and sweet and sour chicken are particularly good.
