This place is terrible. Went to a Brazilian party and purchased tickets to get in. They had a boring DJ playing subpar beats not even related to Brazilian music. Everyone was on their phones and no one was dancing. Drinks were crazy expensive and included a mandatory 20% gratuity. Overall, an overpriced, boring, overhyped, low energy "club." Will not be coming back.

Had the funniest night here but definitely don't think this is my favorite night out spot. (Read for a crazy night).Spotted this place because a lot of classy dressed people were in line but we were told we either had a "table or tickets". And definitely didn't know we needed either so we were walking away until two really chill strangers bought a table and invited us to join them.We didn't know it was like a legit club until we walked down like two stairs and heard the bass. Have to note that the music wasn't bad but the DJ's transitions were a bit awkward. The drinks and the table took awhile for the staff to clean up since there were so many people just already on the couch dancing. Took almost like 30 minutes for them to clean and bring out the drinks, which wasn't too bad, considering it was kinda busy.We were just chilling and luckily there's a lot of couch space to enjoy ourselves. Enjoyed the bountiful amount of grey goose and tequila bottle service we had.But the craziest part of the night were the other club-goers. A few of them didn't even have shoes on which was fine since it didn't affect us but there was lots of juice and drinks splashed on the ground. The bussers were always on top of cleaning the floor and the couches which was super nice. And there was this "birthday girl" with no shoes on, constantly trying to steal our table's bottles and even slipped on the floor. Don't know if she was kicked out or just left on her own volition but it was a sight to see. It's a nice spot if you're willing to buy table service but it's a minimum $1500 I believe for a 6 person table?

I've been to the Underground cocktail club a couple times, twice for the st patty's bar crawl and once after a dinner. The vibes have been different depending on the occasion so I'll try to speak to them both. For St. Patty's, the lights were dim and the lounge was packed with people decked out in green. They were playing more lively music and it was a fun time.On a more normal occasion, the lights were still dim but it felt more intimate and romantic. There was lounge seating - a couch with a table - and a variety of different cocktails to order from. A female opera singer was performing on stage. The vibes felt very 1920s. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed it!

A refreshing, hidden gem that offers live music, a 1920s-era vibe, and service that would bring you back in for more!I happened upon this lounge when I was looking for places on Yelp for local lounges. Upon entrance, you walk down a couple flights of stairs and are welcomed into what seems like a Narnia experience. Seemingly sketchy at first with the hidden entrance but once you enter, you are immediately intrigued. There was a host who directed us down the hallway into the speakeasy. A live band was playing centered above the bar which was decorated with umbrellas that changed colors. Once we entered, we were seated. I opted to hang out at the bar to get closer to the music and met the bartender, Laura, who recommended The Drag but with a Tequila substitute of Casamigos since there were no signature cocktails with tequila. The drink was delicious -I even ordered a second!Laura was very delightful and offered great recommendations for other places in the area to try. I even had a mix up where I was charged for 2 drinks but was able to get in touch with the Manager, Arthur, who fixed the tab with no issues. He was very friendly and let me know that the Cocktail Lounge had opened a shy 2 months ago and was just starting to gain more traction. Overall, between the ambience, the aesthetic, the service, and the quality of the cocktails, I would definitely revisit. The live music is definitely a bonus that would bring me back with some friends. Ask for Laura if you go- she made the experience all the more enjoyable!

5 securities outside and not one can say for sure if there's a cover or not or even if people will be able to get in...the last one comes late to the place and literally says "if you're not buying a bottle I'm not interested"......worst place everDon't even bother to come to this place.

Cocktails were way overpriced for the quality. Don't get me wrong, you get a nice amount of alcohol but the drinks themselves are nothing special and for $19 / glass I would expect more. Additionally the service is very poor quality when it gets crowded. We arrived at opening And got a table easily and were checked on frequently ( when it was just the two of us ) but as soon as more people showed up that deteriorated rapidly. Asked for my check and after 15 minutes of waiting walked ho to the bar and asked for it , had to wait another 10. That's nothing against the waiter/waitresses but they should try to address it. All in all a cool gimmick if you're visiting but they could use some work on the service / quality, especially with all the other alternatives in the area.

Ok. This new hidden gem I discovered after finally coming out to the Underground club is simply awesome. The back room used to be different when I was there last and has now transformed into a beautifully themed "Cocktail Club". They welcomed me with a glass of bubbles as I entered and the LIVE ENTERTAINMENT was simply amazing! I felt like I was back in time at an intimate speakeasy. It's classy and I felt the comradery of the room to have good vibes. I received amazing service at the bar and always was checked back on even though they were busy. I would definitely recommend Underground Cocktail. They even offered fresh warm cookies while I was standing at the bar

I came here for a book party hosted by Marcellas Reynolds for his newest book, Supreme Sirens. You enter the space from the street and have to go downstairs into a basement setting. There is a small carpet with a red velvet rope for crowd control, I am guessing. There were two door men who immediately let us in, but I am guess on regular days a big production is made about who gets in. There was a coat check once you get to the bottom of the stairs, which was nice in hindsight as the seating arrangements are tight and don't allow for much more than sitting. The space downstairs where the event was held was on the small side, with a small stage behind the main bar. Ambiance was on the dark side, with lots of purple lighting. There were several areas for sitting that consisted of small couches, chairs and tables. My BFF and I chose a table that would give us some visibility of the stage since that was were the interview of Marcellas was going to take place. This was my first time at this club and most likely will be my last unless there is an event I would like to attend. While I completely enjoyed meeting Marcellas and getting my books autographed and hearing about his experiences in bringing the books to life, the overall club vibe is not one I would make a point of going out of my way to come back to. I had three glasses of prosecco...with tip my bill came to $86.13. For the size of the glasses, they were definitely overpriced, but the heart wants what the hearts want. Can't imagine what a bottle would cost. For that price I would have been able to get a bottle at Pops for Champagne and one of their bites of caviar. I will say that the two bartenders were very nice and took care of me.Overall, this is a place to come to if you want to feel like you belong to a private club with table service, of which I am not a fan. I have never understood the concept at any business that offers a bottle of something at a four figure price tag that you could most likely get at Osco or Binny's for less than $100. So if you looking to feel like a VIP and spend a lot of money, this is the place to go to.
