Called today to do takeout and got the mushroom cheese steak. Simply the best! Full of meet and cheese. Staff were polite as well when I picked it up.

I have been going to Uncle Sam's in Phoenix at Shea and 32nd Street since I was a kid with my dad and my little brother. Really incredible memories of watching my dad and my brother vie for the highest score on the Miss Pac-Man machine. This was my first time going to the Peoria location believe me when I say there is really no difference in the incredible great quality and service. From the soft almost dough like whole year rolls to the crispy french fries. I had the chicken Philly cheese steak and it was so good with that cheese melted into everything it was unbelievably great. My traveling companion had the mini calzone and could not stop raving about all the different flavors in it and how great it was cooked. The Ambiance is Total Sports Bar with TVs everywhere and all sorts of signage for spirits and otherwise all over the walls. Our server was so nice and checked on us frequently during our meal. Definitely heading back there in the near future and this is one of my go-to spots on game day.

We decided to order through a delivery service today, and based on a great experience we had at another Uncle Sam's location, we thought this would be a good option. Wrong!!! The antipasto salad was decent but nothing special. We ordered our wings extra, extra crispy - they were thoroughly cooked, thankfully, but the skin was soggy, not crispy at all. The worst, though, was the meatball grinder. The meatballs were over cooked, dry, and had no flavor. Unfortunately I didn't think to take a picture earlier, but there was not much sauce. Very disappointing dinner. The only good thing about the experience was the nice delivery driver.Update: based on the owner's response to my review, I would like to clarify that our order was delivered around 30 minutes after being placed. The food was still warm. Therefore, this isn't a delivery issue. The issue is the quality and flavor (or lack thereof) of the food.

Where they lack in fancy they make up for in good old fashioned American vibes. The dining area is huge, clean and comfortably cool during the AZ summer heat. There is bar seating and draft beer. Whimsical American decor and friendly staff. Great, no frills place to take the family or a large group. The menu is sprawling with American food choices such as pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads and more. You can't beat the prices which have remained SUPER AFFORDABLE during the recent supply chain and economic conditions. I paid about $9 for a huge "half" salad that was LOADED with chicken & great toppings and $2.95 for an import draft beer.

UPDATE//PROPS to mananement for reaching out so quickly. Explained about not getting item in question from supplier. Who hasn't had to deal with supply shortages due to C19? Thanks for explanation. All other food was above par as usual. WTH??? Been here several times niw in last 2 months. STILL NO FRIGGIN JALAPENO TATER TOTS.Several people I have spoken to have told me the same thing. How long does it take to get one of the favorite appetizers back in stock.Come on man. Where's the manager??? Somebody is realky dropping tge ball here. Nit good for a sports bar!!

Pizza and wings are pretty pricey considering quality. Food was good, but not worth the money they are charging. Inside the restaurant had a cool feel. Servers were nice, but never let us know when our food was ready. Overall it was ok.

The cheesesteaks are great, especially hoagie style (grilled steak, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, with lettuce, tomatoes, and raw white onions on top or on side). Cheesesteak pros like me (I have the stomach to prove it) add extra mayo and splash of malt vinegar. Service is usually good, ambiance fits the food (sports bar with ample space, good for bigger groups).

I have been going to a Uncle Sam's since I was a little kid and let me tell you, I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is so fun and definitely on the patriotic side if you're into that. My favorite part is the fact that they have an old school galaga & pac-man quarter machine in the front that I remember playing all the time!My go to will forever and always be their bone in wings. Today I got them in honey hot and they are just as good as I remember. The perfect balance of sweet and spicy and probably my favorite wings i've had anywhere local. Not to mention the service today was absolutely incredible. Our waitress was extremely nice and timely with our orders and drinks. The food came out quick and we were in and out in no time without the feeling of being rushed.My only caveat is the prices can get a little expensive depending on what you get, but honestly what isn't these days? I got the individual size for my bone in wings which comes with 6 for around 10 dollars which is comparable to Buffalo Wild Wing prices, though I definitely think you're getting better wings here in my personal opinion.It was so good I had accidentally forgotten to take a picture before I started eating LOL
