I placed a takeout order and went in to pickup. I have been excited to try this place. The food was good. I do agree with others that the food is pricey for the portions. The service was pretty bad. They were a bit busy, so I will give them a bit of a pass. But to completely ignore a person standing there, and to seemingly be actively trying to avoid them, is odd. When I went to the counter to ask for my pickup order after standing there for awhile just twiddling my thumbs and being ignored, I got no greeting nothing. She just demanded I show her my order confirmation for pickup. I love dumplings so I will probably give it another try, but it will be awhile before I set foot inside the place again.

Good food. I enjoyed all four items we ordered: custard buns, shrimp and egg dumplings, chicken sticky rice, and chicken buns. It was the two of us, so we were full, but as a dim sum lover, I want to try a few more plates, even if the portion per plate was small. That's hard to do because almost every plate costs more than $10. A typical dim sum place would be cheaper than that. The service was generally good. The staff was friendly, but maybe because it was a pretty full restaurant when we went, we waited for them to come for a while for the menu, drinks, check, etc. It's a pleasant atmosphere. I enjoyed listening to Mandarin pop music as a BGM. It brought back some fond memories :)

Their chicken teriyaki is a sorry excuse of a dish. It is like dried up old chicken with no sauce. Dan Dan noodles tasted like chemicals and barely any sauce. I bet they added a bunch of Chinese five spice powder but I couldn't get the flavor out of my mouth. Their sesame chicken was decent though.

Absolutely love this place! Authentic tasty and good service. They do things a little different here and everything is separate so if you want rice or noodle with your food you'll have to order it. This is the only place in Arizona I have found authentic soup dumplings or soup dumplings at all. And they are to die for the dumplings are handmade to order so they take a little longer but definitely worth the wait. Since my last visit a few months ago they added more to the menu and even put pictures with the food which is nice for those picky eaters. It's beautifully decorated inside with a lot of wood and delicate lighting but still bright. There's plenty of seating but they do get busy so I'd call ahead to check. 10/10 No military discount for those it applies too

This place is easy to fix, plenty of parking, and good amount of seating inside and outside. The first time here, food was good, but service was ok. Had to keep asking them to refill our drinks and asked for containers to take food home. The other times have been an incredible difference, service was great. Ok, there is the run down on the food:1. Beef with green onion dumplings - perfect texture of dumping skin and well flavored beef2. Pan-fried beef with green onions Pan fried dumplings - perfect texture of dumping skin and well flavored beef3. Scallion pancake was perfect flakiness and layers with the onion greens4. Pan-fried pork buns was good, but the buns were just a tad too thick5. Golden fried bun looks a little over fried but it was very tasty6. Xiao long bao - these were good, but not the best I have had.7. Popcorn chicken - MORE PLEASE, these seasoned just perfectly and crispy8. Taiwanese three cup chicken - WOW, it was super good, flavorful9. Sweet and sour baby back ribs - these were served with love, flavor, and perfectThere are still MORE things I would love to try on their menu! I will be coming back soon!

Our close friends suggested meeting up at Uncle Panda's Dumpling. According to my friend, "This is one of the first types of cuisine (Taiwanese) here in this area." The restaurant has quite a large parking lot to support the businesses in this section.The restaurant is fairly new, about 10 months old. The decor is nice, modern and clean. Inside dining only.The service was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Maybe she is one of the owners.Mongolian Beef (3.5/5) - the beef was fairly tender and good. There wasn't much spice/kick to it. Fairly, straightforward beef with green onions and yellow onions.Scallion Pancake (4/5) - good, classic crispiness.Xiao Long Bao Dumpling (3/5) - Please allow 12-15 min for this if you didn't know. Meaty, but it didn't have any soup in the dumpling. Sad face.Pan Fried Pork Buns (3/5) - like steamed white Buns. I wish the bottom was a bit more crispy or crunchy. Otherwise, it was still good.Pork Won Ton in Chicken Broth (3/5). My wife enjoyed this. But she thought the won ton wrapper was a bit thick.Custard Buns (4/5) - creamy sweet inside. I liked this.Tsingtao Beer - My friend said, "They know how to serve a nice cold beer"I'd come back to try some of their other dishes like the noodle soups, or dry pots, etc. Overall, 3.5 stars rounding up for service and all they offer on their menu.

I didn't have a good experience with them when they first opened. We decided to give it another try after so many months, and to my surprise, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise!We ended up ordering 7 different dishes, and every single one was delicious. You can totally taste the difference when they make their own dumplings fresh instead of using frozen ones. And can we talk about the outstanding service? Our waitress went above and beyond to accommodate my friend's green onion allergy, ensuring there was no trace of it in any of our dishes.The restaurant itself is quite spacious, which is a nice change from some of the cramped spots we've been to. And the best part? The prices are really reasonable.I'm so glad we decided to give Uncle Panda another chance. It's nice to finally have a decent option on the North West side.

Good dumpling house, little bit pricey. Ordered xiao long bao, Dan Dan noodles, taro buns, pork and chive steamed dumplings, and fried potstickers with beef. Really enjoyed the taro buns (ordered 2 orders) and the Dan Dan noodles. The xiao long bao was okay, but not my favorite. Enjoyed the steamed and fried dumplings. Overall the food was good and the service was quick and friendly. We weren't fans of the chicken sticky rice wrap and our server quickly removed it off our bill. Good spot to get your dimsum/asian food fix.

Service was good. We ordered four different kinds of dumplings. They all came out hot and fairly fast. The soup dumplings were okay, a bit bland. The beef and green onion fried dumplings were my favorite but still not amazing. The dumplings in spicy sauce were pretty okay too. The pork and kimchi were really bland and missing the kimchi taste. Overall not the worst but not the best.
