Had to go thru the worst restaurant experience today. The picture shows unboxing of a sausage bento, before any bite. It can't look further different from the advertised photo: 2 egg halves are missing, the portion of sausage looks like leftovers. When the restaurant was contacted, they didn't feel there was any issue because their ad photos are "for reference only". Seriously?

Located in the Mt. Baker neighborhood, not far from the railway station. Small restaurant with about 6 - 7 indoor seating tables. Menu is 1 page and simple to read with drink orders on the back (no alcohol). Nice lunch spot and quick service, food was fresh and delicious. Definitely try the fried egg rolls!I got the salt and pepper shrimp with rice and they were tender and nicely seasoned. Special note, they still had the shells on - so be prepared.

I never got to the food. I walked into the place and it seemed generally disorganized. As far as a "dining area" there were a few tables. The only person present was a child on an iPad. After I had been there for a minute or so I guy on a phone wandered out and looked at me and then turned his back. I got the district feeling this is more of a ghost kitchen place for deliveries than any kind of actual restaurant. In any case I will not try again.

In short, GO!! The place doesn't look like much when you drive past it, but foodies know that places like this are the gems. Gary welcomed us and made helpful remarks on what we ordered. He's very cheerful and passionate. If you're tired of Chinatown's usual suspects, and want non pretentious you must give this restaurant a try! I came here for the Taiwanese dishes and they did not disappoint. They have a mix of Szechuan and Taiwanese dishes. The heat, flavor, authenticity, textures, were spot on. We ordered extra just so we could take it home. Beware, if you order the Fish Filet in Pickle Soup, you will have more meals for days--it comes in a large tray, definitely shareable for a few ppl. We got a lid and took it home pretty easily and here I am writing my review eating leftovers of it. The food we ordered came with rice. Definitely try the pork hocks as well. It seems that they're optimized for take out/app based food delivery, because when we dined in we used all disposable plates and utensils. Super casual. Over all, great value and I will be back many times to grab the entrees to share with my family!Hope I can update soon with photos

I got the deep fried chicken meal box and the chicken was crispy, flavorful, and came with yummy crunchy stir-fried veggies. Will definitely come back to try the other items on their menu!
