Service was good and quick. The food was pretty good. Although, the rice in the tacos tasted old and hard though, which was a disappointment. It's rare that I find restaurants that serve liver so I was excited about that We'll be back to try other dishes.

Everything was just ok. For yakitori I got the chicken gizzard, chicken heart, and pork jowl. The texture was good and the ume dipping sauce was interesting, but the marinate for the meat lacks depth. Whole squid was a bit soggy for me, not much flavor. Pork katsu was good, but the fried rice was bland. Finally, I was looking forward to the Lady M crepe cake the most, but it was extremely hard from still being half frozen. Taste was delicious, as expected of Lady M, but it was difficult to eat.

I don't think I been somewhere where I hate every dish that came out . Everything was just so dry overcooked and tasteless Where skewer we order was dry dry dry and over cooked and colded and taste like they been sitting for days which don't explain why it took so long for us to get out food. And the chicken wing was burned on the outside and raw on the inside, not sure how they accomplish that. And when you order over 100$ of stuff you get free apps , which never came out. The fried rice taste like baby food. Super over cooked rice. It was mushy. Eel plate . The eel was really small for the price and the rice was over cooked. I wanted to check out a new place. I've been to Kazuki izakaya and was impressed, so my expectation was somewhat high.I ordered 3 yakitori, ramen and curry katsu. Boy, it was such a disappointment... quail egg wrapped in bacon yakitori was so rubbery I had to spit it out. Bacon didn't have any caramelization and was mushy... beef tenderloin was dried out without much seasoning. I couldn't taste any smokiness or charcoal. Are they using an electric broiler for yakitori??? Charcoal and smokiness is the half the reason for eating yakitori.... Ramen broth was not flavorful and side garnish for ramen was lackluster. Only eatable food here was curry katsu. There are too many restaurants nearby to be this bad and survive the competition.

Ambient: very cool Japanese theme, cool place to hangout and grab a few cold alcoholic beverages while eating some Japanese skewers and tacosComplexity of the menu: simple to read, straightforward Service: service was excellent, I was the only one there since they are in their soft opening phase. I'm interested to see how they do once they are fully open. Owner of the restaurant was very nice and open to suggestions which is always nice. Making you feel that they want to better their restaurant.Cleanliness: very clean, brand newFood: I ordered TONKOTSU RAMEN, good portion, soup base was very flavorful, presentation was on point.Japanese Style Tacos (2) SPICY SALMON, salmon was fresh and had good flavor, need some work on the seaweed and the consistency of the rice. Definitely has good potential.Beef tenderloin skewer: very tender and had good flavor.Overall experience: I definitely will come back once they have their grand opening. There are still a few more items on the menu I like to try. This restaurant has potential to be good.

New restaurant in Katy! It's super good! Their service was very fast and friendly and they check up on you to make sure you're enjoying your food. Very hot and fresh when everything came to the table. Absolutely enjoyed everything !

Ambiance was nice despite the young staff being a little rambunctious at times. Our server was polite and nice despite being her 2nd day.I wouldn't recommend the salmon Japanese tacos as the seaweed was lackluster and possibly stale. I recommend the beef tenderloin, beef tongue, and garlic pork belly yakitori.

We came here because of the lunch special but it turns out the lunch special wasn't really that special after all. Just additional side dishes which made it more expensive than it should be. The service was alright, and ambiance is chill. But food feels a little limited. we got the pork Katsu rice bowl and it was a decent portion but the katsu was so flat there was barely any meat, although it was breaded very well. The skewers are decently good, especially the special tsukune (meatballs) but for the pricing, the portions are too small. For the price that you're paying, it might be better to pay a little more for way better food. This is one of those joints where food is so mid that there's nothing good to say but also nothing bad to comment. Just alright.
