Ugadi Indian Grill

I stumbled upon this place while driving and I'm so glad I did! The customer service was great, during lunch hours I was immediately sat and welcomed. My waiter was patient as I asked about the dishes and their pronunciations. It was not too crowded and the decor was so cute and nice. The Butter Chicken was delicious with the perfect spice level of your choosing. The Samosas were crispy and stuffed with potatoes, green peas, spices the green sauce (Mint Chutney) it came with was my favorite! The Garlic Naan is such a large portion, like 4 big slices, was so delicious! Dipping it into the butter chicken was the best! I will definitely be back!

This place is amazing and I am so glad they opened right by me. They get a full 5 for ambience, and food.... the food was truly amazing and fresh. The only reason they didnt get a full 5 star rating, is that the service was a little off, as in, the apps came out randomly and the entrees and sides and naan didnt all come out at the same time. Also, they only serve beer. If thats the case, they should allow us to bring our own wine, etc.Again, the food: TOP NOTCH! I will return again for sure.

The food was AMAZING (5 stars). It is probably one of the better Indian restaurants in the greater Nashville area. The service still needs improvement (1 star). We came on a Friday night to dine-in and waited 30 minutes before we received our beverages. It took 45 minutes after we sat down before a person even took our order. The plates, silverware, and glassware had oil stains. But again, the food was amazing. I will definitely be back. I also came the first week it opened, so I expect the service to improve as time goes by. If that is the case, I would not be surprised if this review changed to a 5-star review.

Wow!! This place is so delicious. I got the butter chicken and the garlic naan. It was definitely the best I've ever had. The atmosphere was inviting and clean. The service was fast and everyone who worked there was super friendly. I would go back again and again.

I have only had the opportunity tonight eat here one time so far. I ordered the butter chicken and it was very good. It's the first time I have ever ordered buttered chicken as I typically eat other dishes at Indian restaurants. It was recommended and I enjoyed it. Looking forward tonight going back and trying something different.

I ordered carry out. Arrived after it was marked as received , in progress, and ready. Sat waiting for my order for another 40 minutes where they tried to tell me it would be out soon, then they didn't get my order, then they showed me my ticket and tried to tell me it was already picked up. So after waiting all that time, then they decided to cook it. Love just hanging out for am hour for carry out with no attempt of discount, reimbursement or any incentive to return, so we probably won't

Great food! Went at 5pm on a weekday and was seated fast and received food only 10 minutes after ordering. I was very satisfied with the chicken biryani, which had an entire seasoned chicken leg in it! Yum! The garlic naan was very flavorful and the butter chicken gravy was also great. Love how the interior of the restaurant looks too.

Finally able to go and try this place tonight. Really enjoyed our meal. We got samosas & vegetable pakora for appetizers. Then had Rava Dosa & Korma as entrees with Naan. Service was good. Recommend & will be back! Glad to have a local neighborhood Indian restaurant.

This place is so good I'm leaving this review before before leaving the restaurant.Absolutely a Top 3 Indian restaurant in Nashville (and we have tried many). We got the Chicken Korma, Chicken Chettinad, and Chicken Tikka Masala all spice level 3. Spice is perfect for a level 3, if you like spicy I would recommend going higher. The mango lasi is not too sweat and so creamy! The chicken tikka masala is more tomatoey than others and is fantastic. Great naan, good service, big menu, reasonable prices, and outdoor seating!

I have to go back again. Have only been once and they were about to close but they let me in-I did feel rushed. Not much atmosphere but food was excellent!
