Overall this place was definitely interesting. The view was alright, it was semi clean. The trays were also oily. The people there were kind and helped us when we had trouble ordering. It was about $25 per person (udon + tempura), which didn't seem worth since the food was subpar. One of our udons tasted bland while the other tasted rather salty. I really enjoyed the takoyaki, the tempura was cold-ish and rather expensive.

If you're looking for a comforting meal on a cold night, this is definitely a place to check out! They have lots of different soup options and variety. You are able to customize your Udon how you want it. I got a medium and still has to take home leftovers. It is a very generous portion! The curry was very flavorful and felt comforting. The katsu was a little tough and hard to bite. I would probably just skip the katsu next time and get a regular curry Udon. I like how you are able to add on tempura and other sides. There is a lot of seating inside and it makes a great place to enjoy a meal with friends!

Great udon place on capital hill that I was finally able to check out. We parked by the park and walked around the area for a bit till we decided that we wanted soup and walked a block or two here. They have a variety of option for your udon from sauce for strong flavors or soup for mild and 3 sizes SM, MD or LG. I ended up getting medium and I could've easily just gotten a sm as the portion size was on the heavier side for me.You'll grab a tray and pick your favorite bowl and size and they'll make it in front of you like a cafeteria. I did ask if they can put green onion for me and the girl pointed to the front and said it's complimentary if I grab it (I did not see any green onions so I got no green onions) once they give you your order you get to pick some hot items that were tempuras and this was pretty good but some were left out for a while as it was "warm" and others were fresh so be mindful thereI got the curry udon and the flavor was great! I enjoyed it! I paired it with shrimp tempura and potato and it was mildly warm and price point was great! I definitely expected to be pricey but it was definitely worth the price Overall I very much enjoyed it and would be back again and try the other options

We were initially going to a ramen place but the wait time was too long so we decided to try this place instead. This place reminds of Marugame Udon in Hawaii. Too bad this location is not great for us & no parking lot. Street parking only so that's very inconvenient. Food was good but hard to return bc of the location.

Hands down the best Udon I've ever had, ever. The shop is very cutesy and nice with a casual ambiance and was a great stop while I was traversing to downtown. The noodles and the takoyaki were a good combo of spice and heat which was perfect for the weather. The order style is cashier and self seating so there was quite a line when going in and we had to wait a bit for a table to clear out.

Looking for some good udon in Seattle? Then check out this spot. They have a variety of delicious udon bowls! I got the Men Tama Udon, spicy pollock roe, egg, nori seaweed, and mentaiko-mayo sauce. This was a yummy cold udon bowl and I enjoyed finishing every last bite.

Always a great spot to get a quick udon fix with great flavor and side dish options. I got the on-tama udon with chili oil and loved the simple broth with the spicy kick. The noodles were cooked perfectly as usual and came in clutch on the cold and dark evening. Service was super quick and the tables were very clean which isn't always common at places where you bus your dishes.

I've been here twice now and I've really enjoyed their udon both times! Service is friendly. You grab a tray, order what you want and you can pick different tempura/cooked items where you pay and then find seating. Plenty of booths and tables. Noodles are made in-house! I saw them making them which was pretty cool. The udon has a nice chew to them. I got the mentaiko creamy udon and it was sooo good! I also had their sauce udon with an egg and ume and that was pretty good as well. The udon is fairly priced but you can really rack up the price with their cooked items, but everything is so tasty and well worth.

This is has become one of my favorite fast casual meals in Seattle, especially in the winter when I am craving something hot and soupy. Is the broth or noodles mind-blowing? No, but are the meals relatively cheap with good portion sizes and decent quality? Yes sir, which is why I have gone back quite a few times! It's also a great place to eat alone as there is usually plenty of seating and the service is quick. I usually just stick to the soup udons as that's what I am craving, and I heavily recommend adding an onsen egg. I have ordered the tempura on occasion as they are pretty cheap (ranges from $1-4 per piece) and while it is always crispy I wish it was served hot.

Such a cozy meal for a rainy Tuesday night. Located in "downtown" University District. It looks like they have a fresh Udon making machine. Cafeteria style set up where they make your noodle bowl in front of you, put it on a tray, and you can select the tempura pieces you want. Then you sit down. Pretty cool!I tried a Small On-Tama (egg) Udon ($9.75) and a Sweet Potato Tempura ($1.25). Both were awesome :) Perfectly runny yolk.
