The food was spectacular! The menu is amazing with their unique dishes that accommodate the carnivore, the pescatarian and the vegetarian. Our server was extremely friendly and pleasant to work with. Sam definitely enjoyed what he was doing. He was neither a nuisance nor was he a disappearing act. He seemed to always be there when needed. The place is/was clean and decorated simple, yet comfortable. Definitely worth it! I will be going back.

Service? Check. Ambiance? Check. Food? Check. Drinks? Check. I was taken here for lunch on my birthday, and from the moment I walked in until we left, everything was GREAT!! The Hostess, Bartender, Chef & Beverage Mgr all made me feel like an old friend they hadn't seen in awhile. The food was, especially the Blk Eyed Pea Dip, was tasty AF. I've been several times, and every time I go, I'm reminded why I keep going back. Love this place!!

Came here on a Sunday for a late afternoon birthday dinner and we loved our experience! The hostess was friendly and sat our table of 5 quickly. Our server was knowledgeable and helped us go through the menu as it was out first time visiting. We tried a variety of things around the table such as: Bread Service Basket; Sweet Potato Biscuits and Honey Butter Cornbread$8--they were out of the sweet potato biscuits when we visited but hopefully we will get to try them next time. House Smoked Salmon Egg Rolls; House Smoked Salmon Egg Rolls with a Yuzu Ponzu Sauce, $22. Fried Green Tomatoes; Fried Green Tomatoes, Truffle Burrata Cheese, Applewood Bacon, and Vidalia Onion Jam, $16. Fried Chicken and Vanilla Bean Waffles; Springer Mountain Boneless Chicken Breast, Waffle, Maple Bourbon Syrup, $21. Southern Marinated Fried Chicken, 3 Cheese Macaroni, Collard Green Roll w/Pot Liquor, Garnished with a Sweet Potato Apple Chutney, $28. Catfish and Grits, $22. Can't wait to visit again soon!!

I came here yesterday for their Easter buffet and I was very satisfied. It was $65/person for all you can eat excluding beverages. There were many options to choose from: eggs, grits, Mac and cheese, ham, fried chicken, sausage and more including desserts. This was my first time coming here and I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is small and cozy and the servers were attentive as well. I will be adding this place to my list of recommended restaurants for others to try as well.

A+ dining experience! From the warm greeting at the door to the "well wishes" upon leaving, I am not at all surprised that this resturant has top reviews. The menu is creative, boasting soulful favorites with a modern twist - don't forget to add the bread basket to any meal for a treat (and dessert with the apple jam) I loved the Oxtails (could not resist) over the vegetable fried rice and bok choy ... I was concerned it would be "strange" or more on the Asian side but the fusion was perfect and vegetables were not over bearing but subtle. The new spring cocktail menu was tempting and impressive- but I had the bread so watching the calories lolI highly recommend for a girls brunch, night out, drinks or date night as the building was buzzing with many lively laughing people and delicious food aromas air.

I came here for my friend's birthday brunch this past Saturday afternoon. I came early about 20 minutes due to a miscommunication, but the staff took care of me during this period and gave me a free water.Parking is at an adjacent apartment/retail garage or at the intersection of Huff Road/Ellsworth Industrial Blvd for parallel parking. We had a party of 9, some of us showing up at different times. Our server Taylor did such a great job at attending to our table, with drink refills and food orders. Later I paid using Apple Pay and she was also helpful.I ordered a sweet tea as my drink, and it was delicious. It sounds like you have to pay for refills, so I didn't get one.For food, we shared the bread basket and I got the Shrimp & Crab Cake Benedict, Mac and Cheese as a side (of course), and the Peach Cobbler for dessert. Everything was so good. The portions are big, so just note that. I was worried the bread basket wouldn't be enough for 9, but I think we all got to try a little bit of each bread type. The dip they provided was very yummy. Overall, everyone at the table enjoyed their food, so I might consider returning to try more menu items - especially the fried green tomatoes.

I've been wanting to try Twisted Soul for a while; the other day, I decided to drop in for a solo dinner. I recently moved to the neighborhood, and I was happy that it was just a few minutes away. I didn't have a reservation however, the he staff was able to seat me quickly. Immediately, I loved both the ambiance and vibe of the restauarant.I started with the Bread Service Basket; the sweet potato biscuits were so delicious, and the cornbread was perfect. For my entrée, I went with the waitress's recommendation and ordered the Southern Marinated Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese, and the collard roll (yeah, it was my diet cheat day, so I indulged). The portions were generous, and the food was amazingly seasoned to perfection. Since moving to Atlanta a few years, I've been searching high and low for good and authentic soul food. I am happy to say that Twisted Soul hit the mark! and I'll definitely be back (on my next cheat day, of course).

EXCEPTIONALidk where to start. The food was just amazing. I got the oxtails and man it didn't disappoint. Tender. Juicy. Flavorful. And the rice was tastier...Packed with season. I tried a little taste of the cavatapi from someone at my table and was immediately jealous that I couldn't have both plates haha. The drinks were not just your ordinary drinks. They were mixology drinks. So many great varieties and flavors. It was wonderful and refreshing to see its history and culture hanging around the restaurant including its ties to its very own cookbook and Michelin affiliated. Very beautifully decorated, elegant and comfortable atmosphere. Service was just great. Eddy was a cool host and made sure our first time there was not going to be the last. Because I will absolutely come back here.

We came to this restaurant with high hopes. The menu looked amazing online. However when we got to the location the menu was completely different. We started off ordering drinks and letting our server know we had to leave by 8:20. I did not think that would be an issue considering our reservations were for 6:45. We ordered different cocktails, wines and beers only to find that most of what the menu had listed was not in stock. The bar attempted to make these cocktails, however the drinks were so disgusting due to the missing ingredients. Not to mention that the drinks took about 30 minutes to get to the table. We then moved onto the food we placed our order and to my surprise it took forever to come out. So long we were concerned that our next event would get canceled due to the slow service. Once the food did come out we had bout 7 minutes to eat it. We politely asked for the check because we had to leave for our next event (that we already 385$ for with no refunds if you are late more than 15 minutes) Can you guess what happened next? Surprise.... the check took forever to make it to the table. Once we received the check it was incorrect but we didn't have time to argue we had to leave. While looking at the bill we were shocked to see the charges for the 4 cocktails that were impossible to even drink. Not only that I also surprised to see the 25% gratuity was automatically added. Once I seen the gratuity it made sense. The wait staff does not have to earn a tip because they are going to get it anyways. They can provide poor service and still make their money. It was very disappointing. Moral of the story....do not go to this restaurant unless you have 6 hours to wait and premade cocktails, beer or wine in your purse. DO BETTER
