Twisted Italian

Trip to yum city !!I usually order the salmon with vegetables but this time I decided to venture out and got me the Italian stack with garlic fries .... Oh so delicious!! I am officially hooked !! The bread it's crispy! The tomato and lettuce so fresh !! I absolutely love it!!

This place is OK. Service was 10/10, atmosphere 9/10. Food...6.5/10. This was a recommended local restaurant (by our resort) and it was a disappointment after a long travel from Las Vegas. They rave about their lasagna and it's just not good. We ordered both the famous HOUSE and the shrimp lasagna. The house is a meat-filled lasagna but Twisted uses both beef & "house-made" Italian sausage. To their disadvantage, this twist on meat lasagna is not good. The sausage definitely tastes grocery-bought and it's not crumbled so you end up with slices of sausage in the layers which make it hard to eat. It also doesn't add much to the flavor so it's just kind of messy for no reason. The shrimp lasagna was OK. It comes "bacon Alfredo style" so it was a white sauce instead of red, as expected, but the cream sauce lacked flavor. I omitted the bacon because that combination sounded strange and thank goodness I did because it was WAY too salty WITHOUT bacon and the noodles weren't good. If this had bacon, it would've been inedible. Definitely would pass on these lasagna dishes which is upsetting for a place that raves about their lasagna. The kids pizza is also just a miss. The dough was thick and chewy, sauce was meh and way too much cheese. I will say that their Italian margarita was delish.

The minuses out did the pluses. The sea bass was served with the skin on. Wait staff said the kitchen could remove the skin but returned it to the table saying "that's the way it comes."Veggies were both under cooked and over spicedThe Queen cut lasagna was so salty wow

Very great happy hour specials but I ordered sea bass and I'm pretty sure I got walleye and was charged for sea bass. However the happy hour martinis were amazing and the happy hour specials were great! We'll definitely be back!

I understand Chef Peter Hefferman recently joined the team. We are all over it tonight to see the difference.

Super cute little Italian spot in a strip mall with not nearly enough parking. Food seems to be hit or miss. Came down from Vegas to visit my parents and they couldn't wait to bring me here. It's one of their favorites, so I was excited. The bread is good. I love they serve it with a plate of herbs, so you can drizzle oil over it and soak up. Yum!I ordered Caesar salad to start, asked for no Parmesan cheese on it. First salad had cheese, no problem. Pointed it out and requested a new one. Second one came out the exact same way (to be completely honest, I'm not sure it was even a different salad). Third one was finally right and I will say, their dressing is great. I ordered my mom's favorite entree, the angel hair with shrimp and scallops. The shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection and that's what bumped them from a 2 to a 3. The angel hair was inedible. Pasty, gummy and cold. Veggies were cooked well, but 1 piece of asparagus is extremely disappointing. Our server Mary was very sweet. I'll definitely give them another chance (my dad's chicken parm looked really good).

We could smell the garlic in the parking lot. Our server was great and very attentive. We ordered fried ravioli as an appetizer and it was super delicious. For our entrees we ordered a combo sandwich and eggplant parmigiana and it was so good. The ambiance was nice for this little place. We will definitely be coming back again.

The food is always great and the service is always very friendly!!! As I get older very often my eyes are bigger than my stomach and I always enjoy the leftovers.Pricing is very affordable and very fair!

We typically get pasta and salad to go and yesterday tried the pizza. Delicious! We have been missing out.

Very good food and friendly service. A bit crowded since it's so small. But you can't beat the food simply amazing. Can't wait to go back.
