The empanadas are fried and super greasy. The meat stuffing doesn't have any flavor The yuks fries in the twisted Cuban were ok. The twisted Cuban left you a weird taste in your mouthI'm putting a 2 because I didn't go onsite, I ordered online , and my empanadas came broken vs my mothers in law didn't and she said they were ok . If not I would have given this place a 1

decent food but not much to write home about. I could probably make the food at home if i wanted to. i guess that means that it tasted home cooked haha. anyway, the server didn't bring me the dish I originally asked for and she arguably overcharged me, which especially sucks since the food is already overpriced to begin with.

I took my dad here for his birthday. He loves this place and every time we come it's pretty empty but we love this little gem of a place. We always want Puerto Rican food but I guess this is as close as we're gonna get since there is really nothing around us. The food is great, the servers are really nice. The alcoholic beverages are amazing. If you go you must try the mojito! I love the papas de rellenos, the yuca fries and the empanadas! I usually get their steak too and I am always quite pleased. The place is nice inside and bathrooms are clean. Great spot for families and friend get togethers!

Decided to take a drive on a cold but sunny day My husband said he picked out a place to try. Me- please don't be another sandwich place...Surprise- it was Cuban!Parking is just off the street and backing out requires a little patience but certainly not a reason to check this out. We walked in and were warmly greeted and seated. The menu had multiple options to elect but I zoomed in on the Ropa Vieja with a Cuban coffee. I was tempted to try a cocktail but I needed to get caffeinated. Our meals were brought out and smelled amazing! The rice with black beans were flavorful and the Ropa vieja was tender, well seasoned and delicious. So goodI didn't finish mine and brought it home for dinner YUMMYThe Cuban coffee was so good! We both throughly enjoyed ours. My husband doesn't sweeten his coffee and I do but we both loved this!So glad we stopped by We were thrilled

Went there on my day off. Was giving three stars because I was disappointed at the food and the drink we ordered. So we ordered three dishes. Disappointed at two of them but the Cuban sandwich was ok. Next I ordered the Caipirinha, which I felt was very different from what I looked up the recipe, being a bartender myself so dinging another star.My husband was good with his drinks. So this is basically my opinion on food and drinks.Service was mmmm...ok. Place nice and clean.

Wow! This place is a little piece of paradise. I used to live in Puerto Rico and I miss Caribbean food. I have tried other local places and am always let down. The twisted Cuban did not disappoint! The restaurant is small but such great atmosphere. The staff was so kind. The food....well the food was well the food was amazing and the drinks....delicioso! The best Cuba libre I've ever had. The Cuban rum punch...one was enough. The Maduros were so fresh and tasty. I'm very picky about yuca and the yuca with mojo was spot on. The portions were too big for me, I wish I could have eaten everything. We shared the flan which was thick and sweet. The Cuban coffee was so good and not bitter. Can't wait to be back with friends!

This place has cute decor & gives off an airy beachy vibe. Other than that, I wasn't impressed. First of all our server was not friendly at all and kept rushing us to place our entree orders even though we just ordered the sampler to start. She seriously asked like three times within 15 minutes. What's your hurry?? I feel like she was trying to get us out the door before their dinner rush. I ordered the Twisted Cuban sandwich with garbanzo salad. It was just okay.. I feel like it could have been pressed even more. Flavor was just okay as well. I did not like the garbanzo salad.. had a sour taste to it that didn't taste appetizing. On top of that, their prices are outrageous! Our small sampler plate was $17 and my plain sandwich was $18! This place was a pass for me.

We've been meaning to come here for a while! It's very cute. Or server was excellent! The food was good, but pretty bland! We had and entrée and sandwich. The yucca fries and fried plantains were great and the beans were flavorful. The rest was good, but didn't wow us.

Twisted Cuban impressed me. I wasn't sure what to expect here until a gal's lunch we had planned here. I would have never known this was a Cuban restaurant by the looks of it. It's off the main road with not so much parking. You park head in or if you can, reverse tail in to make it easier for you to leave. Spots are located front of the restaurant. Apparently, there is some parking behind the restaurant too. The inside is really welcoming and has Cuban decor all over- a nice touch. Also, you will notice they have a tall case full of cigars for purchase if you're interested. We ordered the sampler which included yuca fries, tostones, maduros, and papas rellenas. We also wanted to try the corn fritters too. The corn fritters were just okay. They tasted more like hush puppies than corn, and the fried exterior was dark like they were overcooked. The yuca fries were the best yuca fries I've ever had. It exceeded my expectations and wanting more. The tostones were crispy while the maduros were exceptionally sweet and tasty. The papas rellenas were a hit where we ordered extra of them. They are mashed potato balls stuffed with minced meat and lightly fried. I ordered Masitas de Puerco Fritas (Fried Pork Chunks) which also come with tostones and their black bean and rice mixture. Everything on the plate was delicious. The girls and I shared a flan that was thick in texture and a perfect sweetener to finish the lunch off. I just wished the flan was a bit bigger for the price ($5). The Cuban coffee was also a hit and a good pick me up. Overall, Twisted Cuban was a delight. Service was great with the food making its way out of the kitchen in a timely manner. Maybe if they can work on the corn fritters' flavors and their slice their flan a bit bigger for guests, that would be fantastic! I'd for sure come back here to try more dishes!

Drinks were made from scratch (no syrups) and well balanced. We had the shrimp plate (Camarones a la Criolla) and the pork plate (Lechon Asada) and both were incredible. Great flavors, great ambiance. Highly recommend!
