The food is not great. Not even for trashy dinner food. I'm not yelping this for the quality of food. I'm yelping this because I'm a Twin Peaks fan. We got a patty melt, that came with bottomless hand cut fries, "damn good" coffee, and "twin peaks" cherry pie.The patty melt was fine, but not for the price, the coffee was so burnt, and the cherry pie not baked long enough. The service was ok. They seemed stress from a rush but whatever, they are serving a bunch of weirdo fans for a weirdo show from the 90s. All that said, I really enjoyed it. I bought merch, the best the town had to offer, ate an ok burger, drank terrible coffee and ate bad cherry pie. I would go again. Before you leave, take a pic with the mural in the back, go look at the photos on the way to the bathroom, buy some weird merch, and take some pics.

I think I'm in love with with this gem. I think this may just be my new favorite brunch spot! As soon as I stepped in, I feel like I'm diving into this really cool and trendy old school cafe. Our waiter was very attentive, personable and all the staff were super friendly. For the coffee (which seems like something that they're known for) we used the Yelp check-in offer which allows us to redeem a coffee (with refills). The coffee brew tasted really fresh and strong and I could see why people enjoy the coffee here. Also, our waiter was super sweet with helping us redeem the coffee offer. I have this obsession where I order the country fried steak WHENEVER it is in the menu at a cafe/diner and that came with eggs, hash brown and your choice of bread (I chose the homemade biscuit). My partner order the biscuit & gravy with bacon. Observing the consistency of the gravy, I could already tell I was going to devour this. The country fried steak is fried to perfection complimenting the savory gravy and is a perfect pairing with the eggs and hash brown. Oh, and the portions of the hash brown is incredible! (I shared some with my partner, took the rest to-go and both had some to share again for breakfast the next day lol) The biscuit is thick, warm..it's the perfect homemade biscuit. Of course, we cannot leave without trying a slice of the cherry pie..that would be crazy! It was pure happiness in each bite. It was giving..a cozy Thanksgiving around the fireplace with your family with pure joy and laughs type of vibes. Good food + good vibes, what more can you ask for?

Huge servings , friendly service, cute small town interior vibes. Great place to grab a warm coffee on a rainy day. I wouldn't necessarily come for the food, but for a small town this place has been open a long time and they're an iconic place to eat in NB

We came to Twede's cafe for the ultimate Twin Peaks experience and we weren't disappointed! Great service with friendly and staff. They have vegan options (even the pie!). My burger and fries were delicious. The pie was mid but the coffee was actually amazing. I would go back in a heartbeat. They have cute Twin Peaks merch for sale also-- I got a few magnets, a sticker, and a Double R mug!

I have been waiting years to come here, each time I've visited the wait time has been long so when we went the other day randomly in the afternoon I was delighted to see no wait and easy seating! To say I was ecstatic to be there was an understatement. The ambiance itself is such a vibe, it's so nostalgic inside and truly a time warp. We were seated quickly, and provided menus and greeted by a very nice gentleman. He gave us time to look over the menu and took our order. Since it was late afternoon we opted for a PBJ burger and the French dip. We asked for the fries to be extra crispy. I also ordered a cherry coke. There were fellow Twin Peaks fans eating at the table next to us and the waiter was so informative about the restaurant and some other local places to visit. Our food came out and well, presentation was fine. The fries were not extra crispy in fact they weren't all the way cooked. The burger was simple and ok. My French dip was loaded for sure but the meat was so tough to chew and get through. I'd been waiting for the famous cherry pie so we got a piece. I was already a little disappointed when I saw them put it in the microwave. It came to the table and looked good but the bottom was soggy from being heated in the microwave and the filling tasted like it just came out of a can. I'm happy I got to visit this place for the ambiance but not for the food. Maybe it's better for breakfast? I'm not sure since I'm not inspired to go back anytime soon. (Insert sad face here)

Food was good. Service friendly and speedy. Ambience was good. I like that they pay homage to ors Hollywood heritage without being kitschy. Recommend.

Stopped by after a long hike. The portion size was perfect given how hungry I was. The unlimited fries was a plus. The ambiance was like a time machine. We ordered another slice of pie after paying the bill. Instead of charging us, Our server gave it to us for free!

We came here on President Day, a busy Monday late morning. I'm not a Twin Peak fan but I'd say this place looks like a cute cozy diner in the neighborhood that I'll come here to have a big breakfast every now and then. There were still some seats available on the bar so we took them since tables were required to wait. I had veggie omelette and my partner had three pieces of French toasts. It took a while for us to had our food since it was a busy hour. But my we both agreed it was worth the wait.I liked my omelette, first, the portion was HUGE. Egg was nicely cooked. Second, there were lots of veggies in it. Flavor wise, omelette was a bit bland so I had some salt and pepper and it became just perfect. Hash brown was good too, crispy and crunchy on the outside.Overall, it was a nice place to have a big meal if you're visiting Mount Si.

That's a damn fine café!Twin Peaks association aside (if possible), my wife and I absolutely loved everything about this incredible little diner. Family-run (or so it seems), with friendly, attentive and efficient staff, a sizeable menu of primarily breakfast, lunch and brunch staples, desserts (cherry pie, anyone?) and, of course...a damn fine cup of coffee! My wife and I ordered the mushroom swiss and jalapeno burgers, respectively, and her burger was, in her own words, "the best she'd ever had!"...and this is coming from the woman who claims that she's "not much of a burger person". Lies! Maybe that was true once upon a time, but I've worked my magic on her, and this is decidedly not the case anymore! And after this weekend's visit, I expect her tune to change!Similarly, the jalapeno burger was juicy, saucy, spicy and delicious. I always say, if I don't have to ask for a bottle of A1 sauce, then it's a good burger. In fact, it's a damn good burger (starting to notice a trend, here?). To round things out, we both had a mimosa, referred to by our awesome server Jacob (if I remember correctly) as "happy juice", and of course, a slice of that cherry pie!Portion sizes are absolutely absurd, but somehow the prices do not reflect this. How they manage to keep the doors open is a bigger mystery than the fate of Laura Palmer! Then again, with food, service and ambiance this good, I guess it's not all that hard to figure out. Sorry, Coop...mystery solved!
