Turtles Bar and Grill

Good basic bar. The food was on par with your regular around the corner bar. I got the hot wings and they were hot. The drinks were on point so that wasn't an issue. My group and I went mid day. So they only had one waiter bringing out the food and taking orders. She did a wonderful job taking orders and serving food. The bar it's self is fairly small, so it could become packed if there's a popular game on. This spot is worth giving a try.

Fun neighborhood joint. Better food than your average pub, and lots of beers on tap. The proprietor, Tom, is a great host and the staff are really great. Perfect place to watch a game.

Such a fun place! We often go here before, after and sometimes during Sox games. This time, we rented out the upstairs room for a bachelorette party. We had our own private entrance, bathrooms and bartender. Getting the party booked and details hammered out was extremely easy. They were willing to accommodate us on whatever we wanted. We had their pizza and southwest egg rolls- both which were absolutely delicious! Our bartender Emily was also amazing! They even let us bring in our own DJ. I have always enjoyed this place, but this event put them over the top! Definitely a patron for life!

Came here for am early dinner before we went to watch the White Sox play. It was great weather so we sat outside and enjoyed it. Parking was a bit of a challenge since it was game day, but the bar gave us a parking pass while we were dining. The service was quick and friendly and menu choice was good.Here is what we had:Buffalo chicken egg rolls:. One of the newer items on their menu and specialties. It was weird to think of it but the taste was awesome. It was 4 egg rolls cut down the middle, stuffed with buffalo chicken and ranch or blue cheese as the dipping sauce. It was actually really good. Nice and crispy on the outside and soft and tender inside.BBQ wings: meaty and juicy, these wings were nice and tangy with the perfect amount of bbq sauce on them.Chicken tenders: the tenders were not overly breaded and the dreading was really good. Not just a thick slosh of flour, with a nice seasoning to it. The chicken was nice a soft.calamari:. These were fine not anything to brag over but we'll cooked and a good portion.Overall I would come back for a bite. I wish they served dessert, then I would make it a solid go to place. I recommend this to those just looking for a quick good bite.

Still open for takeout during Covid, and the Italian burger with garlic parm fries is worth it!John and crew here are essential Bridgeport.

This is one of my favorite Sox bars! It's a super solid move before or after a game. The outdoor area makes this place super fun.

Sat at a table for 15 minutes with no acknowledgment despite making eye contact with servers and bartender. No excuse for that. Ended up walking out.

The best place around the prices are good and it's decent for bar food. I go here all the time before Sox games.

Great service. Great atmosphere. When I went they were out of malort which is the only reason they will not get a 5 star.
