Zinc Coffee

This was our last stop as we left Joplin and it did not disappoint. We arrived right as they were opening and a few people were already waiting to go in. We got an iced lavender oat milk latte and a hot caramel latte. Both were made quickly and tasted fantastic. I'm a lavender lover and this was one of the best I've had! I'll definitely stop by the next time I'm in town.

We tried the Campfire Cappuccino from the specialty drinks menu and a vanilla cappuccino. The Campfire Cappuccino was excellent! It was subtly sweet with marshmallow and white chocolate flavors that balanced perfectly with the espresso. It was clearly well-crafted and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the vanilla cappuccino was a letdown. It arrived lukewarm, even though I ordered it in a glass cup for here, so I feel like I can't give it a fair review. On top of that, it took quite a while for someone to take my order, which was frustrating. The biggest issue, though, was the seating (or lack of it). For such a large coffee shop, the layout felt poorly designed. We couldn't find a place to sit, so we ended up standing to drink our "for here" coffees, which made the experience pretty unpleasant. While I'd be open to giving this place another chance, they let us down on almost everything except the Campfire Cappuccino. The potential for this coffee shop is high.

Friendly service and tasty treats! Zinc's coffee is excellent. The food menu is short but everything we tried was tasty. A roomy, laid-back space that's welcoming and pleasant. Go!

I am unhappy about the service I received yesterday here. The only reason I order cappuccinos at "fancy" sit down coffee shops and not Starbucks is because they serve the cappuccino in a mug and not a carcinogenic, pfas lined paper cup. I spend an atrocious amount of money to avoid paper cups. I'm pissed off by the audacity of the barista that I pretipped 22% that I asked for cappuccino in a mug when she brought it out in paper. I told her I was drinking it inside. She told me " we are closing in 30 mins". I'm too polite to argue and don't like to create scenes but it made my blood boil that I paid 5$ plus a tip for shitty partially filled tiny paper cup of coffee barely 5 oz AND was spoken to very rudely/dismissively by the barista. So be warned, don't come here if you want bad service for a lot of money. I could have had the same latte for that price but like triple the quantity.

If you like iced milk with barely any flavoring or coffee in ur drink for 5.85 this is your place to go in Joplin. Went back in asked for a refund and then they gave me another iced coffee that was just milk with foam and a hint of espresso. No flavoring. Really glad I paid almost 6 dollars for this.

Should have gave us a warning when we walked in that service takes 30 minutes to get your coffee. So much for "to go". Gal making coffee in the back was sooo slow. Coffee was good but very expensive. 8 dollars for a vanilla latte. Seems a good hangout for college students looking to spend some time relaxing but NOT for a person looking to go in and out for a coffee.

The coffee is good and customer service is even better. Every employee I have encountered is personable and kind. The environment is great for a relaxing lunch break, study spot, or to meet with friends to catch up. Definitely recommend!

Was fortunate enough to find myself in this beautiful coffee shop today. The service was excellent and the young lady we spoke to was very kind. I let her know it was our first time and we were in town for a loss in the family. I lost my mother just a week ago and was left these beautiful message by the barista. It's the little things that let you know life is going to be okay amidst such a loss. Thank you zinc and we love you too. P.S the jalapeño cream cheese croissant was a 10/10

I don't know why everyone loves Zinc to be honest. It's expensive, coffee mediocre, and the staff aren't the most friendly. It's also not immediately obvious where you're supposed to order since they have a weird layout when you walk in.Coffee tasted like it was from McDonalds. Not horrible, but everywhere else is better (except Starbucks)
