Okay Green Country... if you are Lking for something new and exciting to try this weekend.. Yang's is where it's at!This Family owned and operated restaurant will leave you wanting MOREThis restaurant specializes in Hmong cuisine.Straight forward no frills dining experience: walk up to the glass case and take in the glory of perfectly prepared meats. Order.. Pay.. and wait as they freshly prepare your meal.Hmong cuisine comprises the culinary culture of Hmong people, an Asian diaspora originally from China who are present today in countries across the world. Because Hmong people come from all over the world, their cuisine is a fusion of many flavors and histories in East and Southeast Asia. Of the Asian cuisines I think Hmong is the most simply and presented... but certainly does not mean it is lacking in flavor or deliciousness. Hands down the best bite are the boneless stuffed chicken wingsLarger chicken wing de-boned, stuffed with a glass noodle egg roll like mixture and then sealed back up and roasted to crispy perfection. For the pork fans... they make two kinds of flavor packed sausages: spicy and mild and the roasted pork belly is the perfect bite.. Crispy and Fatty goodness that begs to be dunked in their sweet, sour, spicy fish sauce.Sticky rice and Fried rice and homemade crispy egg rolls... the hits don't stop!I've tried several of the soups, but my favorite is the Chicken Curry NoodleFlavor packed and a value that can't be beatA nice addition to the sparse interior is the Soup topping cold case. All the add on for your soup are freshly prepped and presented for you to throw in at your content. Fresh basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, jalapeños etc.The Family service is exceptional and they are very willing to anwser questions and guide you through your culinary journey

THE IRONY. Came to Yang's for the stuffed chicken wings but ended up feeling lukewarm about them. This restaurant serves Hmong's food. Probably the least complicated menu of any Asian restaurants. What I have found to be working for me in regards to Hmong food is to get sticky rice with a meat (sausage, pork belly, or chicken) and fish sauce. I have never been a fan of their sausage so I will always pass on that meat. The stuffed goods are all about what's inside. I just did not like the stuffings in the chicken wings at Yang's, just too much clear noodles. It almost tasted like a vegetarian appetizer. I felt like the roasted pork bellies were the better meat. They were so delicious and I loved the outermost piece which had that charred taste. They would go really well with ramen noodles. The purple sticky rice was my favorite. I could probably eat it with their fish sauce and be satisfied or with the papaya salad, something I may have to try in the future.

Addicted to this fried pork belly! Just the right flavor and crispy outside and juicy tender inside. It is a fatty cut, but you can pick your piece of meat. Love the spicy sauce they serve with it! I could eat this everyday if it didn't go straight to my hips! Stuffed chicken wing is a fav as well! Has the clear glass noodle like the eggrolls with this bread like stuffing. It is also cooked to perfection and don't forget the sticky purple rice. They do have fish as well and fried duck but I haven't tried. Once they sell out, that's it that's all. Small dining area but you can always order ahead or to-go. Fast and friendly service!!!!

Wow! The food is really good! A friend had recommended this place. There's not much to the atmosphere but we didn't care. We had the pork belly and fried rice, the stuffed chicken wing and the sausage and rice. So authentic! We had some great leftovers. We will be back!

UPDATED REVIEW!!I'm still in love with this place. This restaurant is a Hmong restaurant that HITS THE HMONG CRAVINGS!! This has to be my number one spot to go to when I want Hmong food. This place never disappoints and keeps all the dishes consistent, making them so reliable on how delicious they are. I love the sticky rice!! Who wants regular rice when you can get sticky rice for less than $5?! It goes so well with their papaya salad (which is not shredded with a shredder but with a hand and knife because a it thick). The pork belly hits sooo good too! BUT it is oily so don't overdo it! I'm warning y'all! I do recommended the pork belly with the papaya salad because it mixes well together since the papaya salad cuts off the oiliness from the pork belly. Craving for soup? Get the kapoon if you're wanting it to be spicy. IT ACTUALLY TASTES GOOD. I would say it's more on the creamier side than the spicy side. The khao piek is the UPGRADED CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP!! She's thick, she's got fresh chicken & broth! Add some lime from their self service bar and it's PERFECT.

If you are looking for a hole in the wall type place, this is for you. They have a deli with delicious fried foods, pork belly, crispy duck, egg rolls, ect...It's good! I am anxious to go back and try something new. Remember I said "hole in the wall" meaning the atmosphere is underwhelming but the food meet all expectations.

I just can't drink the Kool-Aid with the other reviewers on this one.It ain't that good. I know where to find better Hmong/Laotian food. Up to the counter to order one of Yang's signature menu items, Stuffed Wings. I had spent an hour convincing my wife that the restaurant was worth a try for this item alone. I had coerced her with promised pastries from Pancho Anaya Bakery (across the street) to take home after the meal. Well, no stuffed chicken wings. Only a few of the regular chicken wings abandoned in the heated tray. Noticeably picked through leaving the losers behind, like the nerds that get picked last for high school dodge ball. The sausage situation was similar. No egg rolls. Lots of mystery fish, wrapped in grilled stained foil, stacked high in the tray. Obviously not a desirable protein of choice by the patrons. Plenty of pork belly. It looked good, but pork fat and rice, just doesn't make my mouth water. My wife wanted to try the purple rice. That narrowed her selection down to the remaining sausage logs with purple sticky rice. I admit that the sausage looked deceivingly good, so I got one and a small beef Pho.Serve yourself tableware and condiments for the Pho were in the corner. Problem, no spoons, forks, etc. were available. Our food came out. I informed the server that there was none available. She went back to the kitchen and after a suspiciously long wait, brings freshly washed dining utensils. The sausage casings are stuffed with a coarsely chopped meat of some type. ??? It tasted good. Nicely seasoned. The first bite surprises with the unusual firm and coarse texture of the filling, and another surprise. Every bite comes with a "no chew 'em." Gristle, cartilage, unchewable bits of something that you tolerate during the first few bites. And then you decide that whatever these disgusting animal pieces are, need to be located and removed from your mouth. Enough of the sausage. The Pho had similar low-quality meat. The broth was flavorful and the basil, jalapeno slices, and onion made it even better. It was fair. There are very few reviewers that have written updated reviews, confirming that for most folks like me, it is a one and done visit. If you like lots of rice and pork belly this is your place.

After trying out this restaurant again, I have no choice but to update my review to 5 stars! It gets very busy during lunch time so expect a wait time unless you're there when they open. Great variety of foods that taste great! Service is also good and they haven't messed up my order. Pork belly: crisp and tasty! Stuffed chicken wing: yummm! KAPOON: yes, more please! All in all, great place for lunch or dinner. This place is a must try! I must've been mistaken about the sausages last time. There were two of them in there and looked smaller when they were cut.

Some of my absolute favorites from here is the pork belly, pho, kapia, kapoon, and eggrolls. The papaya salad is good but sometimes too salty or has a strong fishy flavor.
