If you're looking for back issues in the state of Oklahoma, I highly recommend this place. Probably one of only two stores in the whole state that stocks books from the mid 70s and 80s. I have found more things here that I found in any of the nicer upscale stores in Okc or Tulsa. Gentleman who runs the store is friendly, knowledgeable, and no matter what title I threw at him he seem to be able to at least know about it, even if he didn't have it in stock. Plus, the fact he was willing to go in his backstock (conveniently located under the tables) to check for me that alone gives him in this place three stars. Every couple months and when I'm up in Tulsa, I'll swing by this place to find that obscure title that seems to continue to allude me. Highest recommendation ever!!

I was more than satisfied with being able to find my desired back issues. Furthermore, this store was conveniently located next to an Indian (as in the actual Indians, not Native American) grocery.

First, the cons:This place is pretty small and cramped, and it's dark and dingy and there's a layer of dust over everything. It seems like someone opened a comic book store in the early 90's and just let everything sit for 20 years without cleaning it or rotating any stock. The only thing that gets rotated out is the new comics. I'm not sure how long this store has been open, but I seriously think a lot of the stuff has been sitting on the shelf, untouched, for a decade or two, if not longer. Now the pros:There's a lot of unusual stuff that I've found at this place that I've never seen at another comic book store. I've found a couple board games here that are pretty rare, as well as some old D&D modules, and their back issue selection of comics is fairly decent. Remember when I said it looks like this place hasn't been touched since the 90's? Well, some of the pricing reflects that, too. There are some good bargains to be had here. Also the guy that owns/runs the place seems pretty nice, even though he sits there in silence most of the time.I recommend this place if you don't mind getting your hands dirty (literally). As far as comic shops go, it's barely mediocre, but I would definitely give it a shot at least once, because depending on your cup of tea you might find some hidden gems here for sure.

It's very obvious the guy running the place knows what he's doing. This is one of the most organized comic shops in Tulsa by far. When I asked about a particular comic, the gentleman was very friendly and got right up to help me find it. I like that he was so nice because I don't usually like asking for help finding things, as it makes me a little anxious. Great shop & an overall great experience. I will be back! The only con is the lack of air conditioning which made me not want to hang out and browse as long as I wanted, but the pros were so good I still rate it 5!
