Wilder's Steakhouse

One of the best steaks I've had. This place would easily compete with any Dallas or Houston Texas steakhouse (where I'm from). I'm in Joplin a lot for work and happy I found this gem.

This is a beautiful old restaurant with a long history. It's a local favorite old steakhouse that serves elegance and delicious food. Reservations highly recommended and the perfect special night.

Incredibly good steaks. Filets and Au Pavre were great. Love the mini wedge salad as well.

ive lived in Chicago, LA and Denver. this is the best Seafood and Steak you'll ever have. Ask for Crystal, she is so sweet, personable, and knowledgeable about the building. my boyfriend and I happened upon this place after seeing the solar eclipse in Littleton. seriously, eat here, have a drink and relax. it feels like a speakeasy in Chicago.

A great find. We were driving through on a road trip and wanted a nice steak dinner.We were impressed: very nice high-end establishment and service, excellent food, including perfectly prepared rib eye.My only regret is that we live 2000 miles away...which makes it hard for us to be repeat customers. I will remember it fondly.

Great food and cocktails with an old school, chill retro, steakhouse atmosphere. I had an enjoyable time trying out this place. I love the Neon signs out front and back, it felt like I was stepping back in time. Like some Steakhouses back in Las Vegas Nv. The service was polite and efficient, but not overly friendly, welcoming or talkative. I got their biggest Rib Eye Steak on the Menu along with their creamed spinach and sautéed mushrooms all portions were of decent size and quite tasty. I would definitely come back again.

My husband and I went to Wilder's this evening for our 3rd wedding anniversary and it was AMAZING! The food is delicious, the server Katrina was so helpful and kind. It was like a time capsule into the 1930s/40s, we loved it! The food is TO DIE FOR! Extremely gorgeous and welcoming. 10/10

Great food in a good atmosphere. I've been a few times, and not every time was a slam dunk, but the lower star visits were a while back (pre-pandemic) so hopefully they're on an ongoing quality streak. It's pricey of course but I'd recommend for a rare night out or a special occasion.

Always top tier food service and atmosphere. Well worth the price of admission! Recommend highly!

Passing through Joplin, we came across Wilders. We ordered a tenderloin and a strip loin medium rare and they came out perfect.These were perhaps some of the best steaks I have ever had in my life. The crust on the steaks were amazing. I will definitely be coming back to Joplin, JUST for this restaurant.
